Samsung A12 dead, need help getting data out

I'll describe exactly what happened with the phone (Samsung A12): First there were some lines on display, lots of parallel lines, like a GPU issue, I restarted the phone. It worked ok for a min or two but same thing happened, then I couldn't restart normally, but had to press the volume buttons and power and hold. It restarted but also went dead after a while with same lines showing. Anyway after a few times it is totally dead and cant start with any combination of buttons (or vibrate) & doesn't show its charging. Hopefully I can get data out of the phone, like images or WhatsApp local backup file. Whats the best way to try? I considered ordering the basic tools from aliex and try at least see if something obvious is disconnected, it did fall a bunch of times. **UPDATE**: I just tried to turn it on after a few days with vol down and power button while on charger and it did actually turn on and showed charging circle clearly for 15sec and then lines again and then soon died.
