Signal Folder ~/Library/Application Support/Signal does not exist – where is it?

                          I am using a MacBook Pro 13-inch 2018 running macOS Sequoia 15.4.

I would like to access the local files of the Signal Messanger App, which are – according to the support website  – located at ~/Library/Application Support/Signal.

However, when navigating to ~/Library/Application Support, there simply is no Folder called Signal. As far as I am aware, this folder should not be hidden, so I should be able to see it normally in the file browser. 

Does anyone know why this folder does not exist?
