                          I'd like to find and execute a command in the current $PATH matching this wildcard libreoffice?.? (eg. libreoffice4.0, libreoffice4.3, etc.)

EDIT: if multiple matches are found, you can pick one randomly.

I prefer a POSIX compliant solution.
