radeon errors: GPU lockup: ring 0 stalled for more than x msec

I have newly installed machine with Debian Buster. The GPU is radeon FirePro W2100. After couple of hours of use, the machine suddenly freezes, the display switches to "white noise", and machine is unusable. Is this HW or SW problem ?
