Why does Debian identify .key files as PGP instead of Apple Keynote files?

I'm trying to understand why Debian identifies .key files as PGP files instead of Apple Keynote files. The mime.types file from Debian's repository lists .key files as PGP: https://salsa.debian.org/debian/media-types/-/blob/master/mime.types?ref_type=heads . However, according to the IANA registry, .key is designated as an Apple Keynote file: https://www.iana.org/assignments/media-types/application/vnd.apple.keynote . What is the reason for this discrepancy?
