I tried putting it into fastboot to do what they tell me to do with this error, but the phone reboots by disconnecting from the PC. Even to put it in fastboot, I have to use the volume up arrow and the power button, I choose the fastboot option, and when I choose fastboot, the phone does not show a terminal like they do in the tutorial, it seems as if it was turned off. I connect it to the PC and the same thing happens, it restarts every 5 seconds and adb does not recognize it. I do not know what to do.

TCT (also called TCL) Alcatel 3T 10 (model 8088Q) Android 9 tablet makes a loud unpleasant sound when taking screenshots. On top of that, turning the DND or silent mode on doesn't mute the screenshot sound at all. Moreover, there are no settings available to change the sound of the screenshot or simply turn off or mute the screenshot sound. I contacted the brand, but they provided zero support. Just FYI, after a long time, I have been able to find the app [Mute Mode](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mggm.shiiitmode) in Google Play Store. This app has capability to mute all sounds of the tablet. It can also mute sounds of selected apps which is very helpful. So this app can successfully mute this unpleasant screenshot sound but only if I mute everything. There is no option to mute just the screenshot sound. So that's one drawback of this app. There is risk factor as well with this app. Suppose if I forget to turn off this app, then it will mute all alarms and notifications which is risky and impractical for daily stress-free usage. How to mute or change the screenshot sound?

I have an old Alcatel 1s (5024d) with Android 9 and I wanted to try my hand at rooting it. I've been following a tutorial that's supposed to let me flash a boot.img patched by Magisk Manager. I've enabled USB debugging and OEM unlocking in the developer options, installed the necessary drivers, and have downloaded the official platform-tools to be able to use adb and fastboot. Additionally, I also have the original cable that came with my phone. I have zero problems finding my device with and adb with fastboot, but when I try to use fastboot oem unlock (when my phone is in fastboot mode and connected to my PC), it just shows

FAILED (remote: 'unknown cmd.')
fastboot: error: Command failed

I have also tried fastboot flashing unlock, but that shows

FAILED (remote: 'Not implemet.')
fastboot: error: Command failed

There's frustratingly little information about rooting this 1s version, so I'd be grateful for any advice on how to unlock the bootloader.

I own an Android Alcatel 5004r and am trying to root it. Does anyone have any suggestions

I copied audio files (music) from my desktop computer to my alcatel. I only have internal storage, It seems the ones I copied on a specific day won't play. Message is "We cannot play this file" They also cannot be moved to trash. The message I get is " Couldn't move file to bin. Something is wrong with the file" Now these files do not appear in the music app of my phone. They only appear in the audio section of the files app. If I go to files, I can see at the top folders all/downloads/ and then one with one with an odd sequence of stuff eg it starts off with a rectangle, then ?5x and so on. This is where all these files are stored. I can't rename them either. Note. As I stil have the files on my computer. I tried copying one of them to the phone, and it plays fine. So basically, the files I am having problems with are in the audio section of files. But the music app does not recognise them. They are in a folder with an odd name, and I can't delete them. I would like to be able to delete them.

I found this mode on my onetouch 9022x tablet but I don't know how to use it. Are there any tutorial how to use it?
