I have a Karbonn Smart A26 on Android 4.1.1. After rooting and using it for 3 years, I mistakenly deleted one file from boot. Now it's not powering up.
I gave it to the service centre, and they told me it was a waste and threw it. I still have the ROM and tried flashing it, but it's not responding. The light switches on, it powers up, but won't connect.
Anyone, please tell me how to recover that "bricked" phone.

What could be the problem? Any useful suggestions are welcome.

Still, I was planning to give a try to this method
Unfortunately, CyanogenMod has shutted down all its systems, including its webpage; so probably, link would also not work.
Now, is there any risk of my phone getting bricked? If yes, then soft brick or hard brick? If my phone gets bricked, can I repair it by simply flashing the stock ROM?

I'm using a Karbonn A52+ running Android 4.2.2. I have been facing a problem, many times, in fact, most of the times, when I'm using my phone, it automatically turns off (Not when the phone is not in use). Then when I try to switch it on immediately, it doesn't.. It switches on only if I try after a while. Sometimes it even requires the charging of the battery, even when it has a decent amount of charge remaining. Sometimes, even such a thing happens:
Phone has 90% battery, it switches off, I reboot, it has 1% of battery. I take the battery out and reinsert, it again has 89-90%. I found an article on the net saying if the phone's testing mode says the battery is healthy (which I did confirm in my phone), most probably it is a software problem.
I tried uninstalling recently installed apps, problem persisted
I removed the SD card, phone worked fine for 10-15 minutes, again switched off
Now when I run the phone WITH sd card, it goes off almost immediately after booting.
I even tried disabling quick boot (which I don't remember when did I turn it on), problem persisted..
I went on and performed a factory reset, phone worked fine for a day (or perhaps less) and the problem started repeating..
So I'm unable to make out whether it's a software or hardware problem..
Shall I go ahead and flash my stock ROM or buy a new battery?
P.S. I have once flashed my stock ROM due to a soft brick around a month or two back..

I have an Android phone that isn't starting up. All it shows when I power it on is the boot up screen. The recovery mode does not start and the ADB shell on my laptop fails to detect the device as well. What can I possibly do to get my device running again. I don't mind formatting the phone. The device is a Karbonn Titanium S1. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Updated:
- The
adb devices
command detects the device as long as it is switched off and connected to the PC via USB.
- adb shell
-> recovery --wipe_data
gives a segmentation fault '139' error.
- Trying to boot the phone at times ends up in a screen that says:
> **Encryption unsuccessful**
>
> Encryption was interrupted and can't complete. As a result, the data
> on your tablet is no longer accessible.
>
> To resume using your tablet, you must perform a factory reset. When
> you set up your tablet after the reset, you'll have an opportunity to
> restore any data that was backed up to your Google Account.
- The phone does not boot into recovery mode the manual way but does enter a frozen recovery mode when I run the adb reboot recovery
command with an "data mounted failed" error.
