How do I enable continuous scrolling in the Nook app?
Is there a way to enable continuous scrolling on the Nook app for Android? The Kindle app allowed me to read by scrolling vertically, but I can't find a similar option in the Nook app.

My nook HD won't charge

I hadn't used it in a few years, and I went to use it again and this happened. I'm using the nook brand block and cable. It is a BNTV400. holding the power button for 20 seconds, or any length of time does not turn it on.

I recently bought a Nook BNTV450 from someone on Ebay, to replace a like model that I used for years until it was damaged in a fall. I got stymied early in the setup by the message "This device was reset. To continue, sign in with a Google Account that was previously synced on this device."
I reported this to the seller, who simply apologized and offered a refund. Probably I should just give up and buy a newer model Nook, but I really liked my old device, and this is also my third attempt at replacing it (don't ask) and I hate to admit total defeat.
First, I contacted two separate chat support people via the Barnes and Noble web site, who both told me to do a factory reset from the recovery menu. That didn't work, of course. Then I called and spoke to a real person, who just flatly told me it was impossible to use the device without the previous owner logging in.
Nearly all pages I've found when searching for the lock message have focused on phones, not Nooks, but [one answer](https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/127739/how-to-bypass-verify-your-account-factory-reset-protection?newreg=6d061791e94547359925ad9ee7452d3c) on this site got me reasonably far; I'm able to access the general Settings menu. However, when I repeatedly click the "Android version" button on the "About tablet" menu, it doesn't activate the developer settings. Instead, one of the following two images fills the screen:
All I can do at this point is click the back arrow to return to the "About tablet" menu. Develop settings are not enabled.
Other pages suggest one should click repeatedly on other "About tablet" buttons to activate developer settings, such as the "Build number," but only the "Android version" button has any effect on my device.
Even if I were able to turn on developer settings, the Stack Exchange answer I linked to above says the next step is to attach the device to one's computer with a USB cable, but the Nook doesn't have a USB port. Then one is supposed to run an adb command. I've installed Android Studio for Linux, but it doesn't come with an adb command.
Is there any way to reset my Nook so I can use it, either by continuing the process described above, or any other way?

The device won't power on. The screen and status light show no indication of activity when pressing or holding the power button (or any button / pairwise combination of buttons for that matter).
The Nook HD+ (model BNTV600) has been unused for at least six months. It would not power on, so I presumed that the battery was simply dead and left it plugged in overnight to charge but would still not power on the next day. I suspect that it is not charging. When initially connected to a charger the light shows green for three seconds and shows orange/amber for three seconds and then remains off (there is a brief flicker orange/amber -> green at the transition between colors).
The device was functioning normally before storage. I've tried charging with two different Nook HD+ -> USB cables and two different USB AC adapters and the behavior is all the same.
Is this device completely dead? Are there any tricks to get this thing to charge / power on?

How can i see and/or delete the clipboard contents
The only options I get are cut, copy, paste, and select all. I can easily find the clipboard on my Samsung phone using almost all of the suggestions here, but not on my nook tablet A. Can anyone help me discover where this data is to retrieve?

Recently, I had to re-root my nook simple touch after the stock recovery removed the su binary. Unfortunately, it deleted my settings for remapping my upper left page button to use as a CTRL key. I would love to go back to using the terminal app running an Ubuntu Distro.
I tried fixing the problem by installing the patched jars needed for nook touch tools. Although, I successfully installed them but when I go to the app to do the remapping the CTRL option no longer exists in the list of options!
I already found my keymap file in this directory

After initiating my first trim attempt, I left my device alone for a bit assuming that it might take awhile to complete the process. Upon returning to the device, however, it would not power on. After trying the basics without success (holding the power button + home button to reset, etc.), I left the device alone for awhile and later found that the device had booted itself up and was running properly again (though the trim didn't work). I trimmed again after booting up and the operation succeeded almost immediately, fixing the lag issues I was having.
It's now about a month later and I attempted another trim which froze my device (no screen activity, system clock unchanging). After about 15 minutes of waiting for a change, I powered down the device, plugged it in, and went to sleep. Attempting to power the device on has been impossible, and plugging in the charger simply shows a green light (even after unplugging the device for awhile). If I hold the power button for about eight seconds, the green light turns off until I press the power button again.
When plugged into my PC via USB cable, Windows continually sounds the device connect and disconnect jingles and says "the last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it." This stops if I hold the power button as previously mentioned.
After leaving it alone for awhile, I found that the device had randomly powered on, but was stuck at the initial Nook loading screen. Powering it down left me in the same position as before.
I'm all ears if anyone has a clue on how I can proceed, or where I can ask for knowledgeable support. Thanks!

So I have Cyanogenmod 11 on my Nook HD+ and after just a month or so it starts performing awfully!
To the point I can't use it and have to reflash CM 11. I've had to do it several times in the last 5 or 6 months.
It will reboot itself randomly. It's also so laggy sometimes I can't even unlock it because when I swipe to unlock it, it either won't register the touch or the animation will seem to be so slow it turns the screen off before it gets to the lock symbol and I won't be able to give it anymore input.
I guess my question is: have I done something wrong with the flash or is this my HD+ dying?
On a side note after I flashed CM 11 for the first time if I let the battery die, I won't be able to turn it back on for days until it decides I can use it. I avoid this but just not letting it die.
Also the screen will sometimes turn to "snow"...? I'm not sure how else to describe it, it happens quickly but it looks like noise/snow on an old TV, and it usually happens on the lock screen.

Will the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook receive updates past 4.4.2?

I can't find official information from either Barnes and Noble or Samsung one way or the other. It doesn't look like it uses TouchWiz like other Samsung devices, so it would likely be more effort to develop and test for future Android versions. I think that if it is going to receive updates, it's at a really good price point for a tablet, with the Barnes and Noble sales and promotions happening now. If not, I'm not sure if it's worth the cheaper price to be stuck on 4.4.2 forever - it seems like that will be behind the times rather quickly. Are my fears of that well-founded?
