Samsung Galaxy Apollo (GT-I5801) doesn't connect to WiFi connection. What should O do?
Currently my phone doesn't connect to WiFi connection, it always on and off everytime I open my WiFi connection. What can be possible solutions or what do I need to check in order to connect my Samsung Galaxy Apollo (GT-I5801) to WiFi connection and to stick to on when I open my WiFi connection?

Is it possible to unlock my Samsung Galaxy 3(GT-i5801)?
I moved to another country and absent-mindedly bought a SIM card for my GT-i5801 (from Orange UK) Now it's asking for a network lock code. I have searched the net and everything points to me going to a "phone" shop to unlock this, however I'm not conversant enough in the local language to understand...
I moved to another country and absent-mindedly bought a SIM card for my GT-i5801 (from Orange UK) Now it's asking for a network lock code. I have searched the net and everything points to me going to a "phone" shop to unlock this, however I'm not conversant enough in the local language to understand people yet and want to carry on using my phone.
Is there anyway to unlock this phone? Either that or I have to wait a month until I can get back to the UK.

We have a Samsung GT i5800 with Android 2.1update1.
When I put a memory card in it, it recognizes it, great!
But: When I want to connect the phone via USB to my PC: this picture DOESN'T comes up:
And I can't see my memory card through my phone from my PC!
On other phones, the memory card is OK. (tried another android phone).
The USB cable is good, tried it with another phone.
What could be the problem? Are there any settings that I missed?

Decrypt my Micro SD Card
I have been looking every where for an answer to this. I had a Razor MAX with an encrypted card in it. Well I dropped that phone and it died on the spot. When I select Phone app and go to keypad tab, on keys I see alphabets besides each number key. How to use them? I suppose it should find a contact already in my contacts. If the phone sleeps/locks, no one can call me from their PC. I think it's because skype disconnects when the phone sleeps and logs-in as soon as I activate the phone touchscreen.
What do I need to do, to get Skype to work and receive calls at all times?

Samsung Galaxy 3 (GT-i5801) is not being detected in Kies
Whenever I connect my device to my PC, it asks me on connection for the type of connection I want. If I select Samsung kies in the device it shows me connected, but in the kies it keeps connecting *(with spinner...)*. I have tried the solutions described on [this question][1] answers, but no avail....

Volume buttons unexpectedly started waking the phone from - how to disable?

When my phone is locked and the screen is off, I could usually wake it up only by pressing the home or power buttons.
Now, the screen also wakes when I press a volume button.
This started happening for no reason that I remember, and is extremely annoying since I use the volume buttons for controlling audio while the phone's screen is off (an option in Apollo).
Now when the screen goes on, the volume buttons have stopped changing the songs, but instead just increase the volume - which is quite a traumatic experience when you're trying to change a song on the go.
It also results in my phone's screen being on most of the time because I like to change the volume a lot.
How can I disable this?

Why do I get dropped calls and weak signal with Samsung Galaxy 3 5801 mobile?
Samsung Galaxy 3 5801 phone with android 2.1 OS. When I enable GPRS I am getting dropped calls and weak signal. When I disable GPRS I find my calls don't drop and the signal much better. Is it a hardware issue or service provider issue or a software issue? How can I fix it?

Will android market work (update app) after I install a new mod in my phone
I am going to root and install cyanogen mod 7 on my samsung I5801 (Having froyo). Will the android market work in cyanogen mod i.e. will I be able to use and update all the applications (whenever updates are released) that I installed from android market as I would do previously?

Hi I cannot upgrade Samsung gt-i5800 firmware from 2.1 using kies, it tells me that the phone requires 3000 mb (or 3gb) but it doesn't even have this as internal memory as far as i know! Any help would be great as I don't know what I'm doing and I'm sick of a phone that can only have 5 extra apps or so on top of the ones it comes with :(
