I have a samsung galaxy chat B5330 device. Whenever I try to connect it to wifi, I get various errors as follows, 1. Using DHCP :- Here it shows a "obtaining IP address" message but never connects. 2. Using Static IP :- It connects to wifi but then shows a "internet not available" error. I'm sure that internet is available as many others use it successfully using other android devices/laptops etc. EDIT: I found out that not all are able to use the wifi. Some do not get connected(stuck in "obtaining ip address"), some get the "internet not available" error, some connect and get internet but at very slow speeds(10 KBps download speed) while some lucky dudes get blazing speed(10MBps download speed) Could this occur due to to many signals at same place? At any given place in campus, we get at least 2 strong and 1/2 weak wifi signals, not to mention some secured portable wifi hotspots from androids. How do I solve this error. Note that I don't own the router/wifi, it's open(No security, accessible by any student.)

Having got a Samsung Galaxy Chat (B5330) I'd like to use its physical keyboard to to enter not only english but also central european (czech) and cyrillic (russian) letters (I am ok with english-only key labels). So, any directions on where and how?

The title says it all. I have read this rooting tag info throughly and did all that was necessary to ensure this question is not duplicate. There are some guides on the web, but they only make me go mad as each has some issue (broken links, poor comments, etc). So if anyone can give trustworthy answers, please do. > Note: The OS for galaxy chat has been updated a while ago. Now, it has jelly bean. ---------- After checking all the generic methods,I've found only two methods that could possibly root galaxy chat.out of them ready to root has very bad rating ---------- The second method is **Bin4ry method**.But there is no way one could understand if it's actually rooting or not(the app says,it will either show message on completion or show nothing). If anyone succeeds using bin4ry method.Do add the approx required time.

I am using Samsung Galaxy Chat B5330 (officially upgraded from 4.0.4 to 4.1.2). It used to work fine, but since a few days I am not able to call or send sms or use any network related services. It gives me error : "Not Registered On Network". I tried applying manual network settings. At first it gives a pop up : "Registered on Network". But as soon as I try to make a call, the same error : "Not Registered On Network". I thought that factory reset would have been the solution to my problem, but unexpectedly , this too did not work for me. Please help.
