So the issues: - Gmail password is out of sync. No internet connection. Can i get in sync? - Computer doesnt regonize the device. Assuming its a security thing because its locked. Can i get around it? If so might be able to use ADB or other software. - Unable to install outside software from sd card. Gives out different error messages. Can go in detail if needed. Im so lost and hope to get the data out. Its the only valuable thing about the phone.

I have tried the following to no avail: - Select All SMS > Delete - Downloaded SMS Backup & Restore App and used it's delete function - Downloaded Super SMS Quick Delete App and used it's delete function They all just hang. I am also trying to "Clear Data" the Dialer Storage App but it's not pressable, even after "Force Stop". How can I make the Clear Data button pressable? Or, is there another way to delete all SMS aside from Factory Reset?

I am using Samsung Galaxy Y GT-S5630 phone with IDEA network provider. I am having signal loss problems many times a times. When I try to make a call, it says "Network unavailable". I though this might be the problem IDEA network, but it was not. I tried checking the same sim card in another mobile and it's working fine, this issue is being observed mostly for every 4-5 minutes. How can I resolve this?

My Samsung Galaxy Y GT-S5360 is not starting
I was installing a custom ROM on my Samsung Galaxy GT-S5360. The installation aborted abruptly and I lost all data from my phone. Now my phone won't start and is stuck at the Samsung Galaxy Y GT-S5360 logo. I tried to flash the stock ROM via Odin but it is not detecting my device.

My Galaxy y s5360 is not detecting the sd card?
I am using the Galaxy Y (S5360) with Gingerbread. A few days ago my mobile stopped detecting any charger or usb. After some time it started working again but it still wouldn't connect via usb to a PC so I can't access my SD card. I have reset my mobile also but I am still having the same problem.

There's a problem with my Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 after upgrading from GingerBread to Android KitKat. I followed all the steps starting from downloading CWM, CyanogenMod 11, and the KitKat ROM. And thankfully I was successful. At first, it was so long before the update was fully installed on my Galaxy Y. **Problem:** When I turn it on, it accepts the SD Card, but **SIM card is not detected**. I tried rebooting over and over again. But only the SD card works, specifically that only the SD card is inserted, not SIM card and it works properly. But it **doesn't start when SIM card is inserted**. Now I rebooted it with only the SIM card inserted, hoping that "somehow" my Galaxy Y will take its time rebooting while my SIM card is inserted. But still, I'm not sure what will happen. Please help me.

I have seen the Question: https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/13352/is-there-a-one-click-widget-to-make-my-phone-completely-silent and this is not a Duplicate Question. In my, Samsung Galaxy Y phone, when I completely reduce my volume, it goes to the "Vibration" mode. Turning the volume down again after the "Vibration" mode appears has no effect in my phone. I have look around and found no option to mute at all. My Question is whether is it possible to completely mute an Android phone without downloading/installing any extra app? Doing everything mentioned in: https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/8573/what-is-the-fastest-way-to-turn-the-phone-into-silent-mode?rq=1 puts my phone to "Vibration". I can't believe that there can exist a phone in today's world without such a basic feature.

I am using Samsung Galaxy Y. Yesterday my phone screen went white. I tried restarting, and the same problem occurred. I can receive phone calls and SMS but display fully disappeared - only white screen shows up. Can any one (if one has already faced this problem) tell me how to fix it? I went to a service center but, he charges too much to fix this problem. So I decided to try manually to fix this problem but still didn't find any solution, not from internet either. I already tried rebooting, hard-reset (removing the battery for a while), and even factory-reset; but none of those solved the issue.

Is it because of some phone settings of mine? or is there an android update? or do I need to install some app? or is the trouble with my network operator?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Y GT-S5360 and I wish to transfer some audio files from it to my PC, running Windows 8. When I connect the phone to the computer with the USB cable, the phone beeps and begins charging but displays no USB connection notification. Likewise, the computer doesn't register the connection at all. I have googled the problem but only seem to find partial solutions, which don't fit my situation. I've tried updating PC drivers and phone software, turning off and on again, trying with and without Kies software and on several different machines. The phone is running Android 2.3.6 Anyone got any ideas?

I have a Samsung galaxy Y mobile phone, and I have just discovered that the option to save messages as draft is completely missing in the app named "Messaging" that I got pre-installed. I am really shocked, as this is a very basic and common feature in the cheapest phones today. My Question is: What kind of design/usage philosophy/idea/concept/thought is behind this? Also, is their any good alternative to this pre-installed app which has the option to save drafts?

Phone isn't detected via USB but still charges
My Galaxy GT-S5360 is not being detected via USB when I connect it to my PC. It still charges however. It used to work and there was a prompt to connect it to the computer but now it just charges directly. I have downloaded Samsung Kies but it still won't connect.

I followed the steps on this link to install Hyperion 9 on my old Samsung Galaxy Y. After completing the installation and rebooting, the phone is stuck at the Samsung logo start screen. I have tried redoing the whole installation a few times, just in case, but only to get the same result. I waited for around twenty minutes at the Samsung logo each time. I previously tried two other ROMs which do take time on the first boot, but the wait (~3 minutes) is after the Samsung logo screen, i.e., at the ROM's own logo screen, and everything was fine after that. I had installed something with "EXT4" for one of the earlier ROMs. I'm not sure if this might be preventing Hyperion from starting. What could I do?
