Is there a way to display the same amount of information on the watch face of the Apple Watch but using less complications?

This is all of the information I like being able to access on my watch several times a day without having to go into the list of apps. enter image description here *French time, shortcut to record an activity, numeric US PT time, activity rings, voice recorder, date, timer shortcut, sunrise/sunset.* The only way I have found to gather all this information on just one face is by using the “infographics” face. However I do not need the classic watch face with the minute and hour hands, since I already have numeric time which I prefer, but this is the one thing that I cannot remove. Would there be a way for me to have all of the information available on this watch face by using less complication spots? (For example date and numeric time gathered in one place?)

Does anyone have any experience or resources that could help me get the iOS 17 Developer software running? Or any other workarounds for the Apple Watch 9?

Using the home or side button of the Apple Watch in a shortcut
I'm currently trying to create a shortcut that skips to the next song in the Music app when I press the home (or maybe side) button. Unfortunately, I haven't found the action for these 2 buttons on the Shortcuts app. Is it really not possible to use these buttons in a shortcut?

I have an old watch app called Zepp Tennis. Part of its feature is allowing access to a sensor on the end of a tennis racket which then displays the tennis racket’s speed right on the watch. It requires accessing the watch’s bluetooth to do this. Due to a lawsuit this company is now out of business and it seems unlikely that they’ll change this app at all. I have a problem where it seems as if this feature is not possible on WatchOS6, because it doesn’t ask for Bluetooth permission correctly. But it _is_ possible on WatchOS5. I was able to get it to work on an old watch right before I tried to replace the battery and it bricked. If anyone else can test if this works on WatchOS6 please let me know. How can get I simply give this outdated app the necessary permission to use Bluetooth so that it works on WatchOS6? To be clear, the watch needs to connect to the sensor directly - not through the phone. It is impossible to add a new watch to an apple account that uses WatchOS5. Apple will always auto update it to WatchOS6 before adding the watch, annoyingly.

I started using an Apple Watch to assist in a [CBTI](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cognitive_behavioral_therapy_for_insomnia) effort1 to slightly increase and regularize my sleeping hours. My first impression is very positive and I'm finding various reminders (related to sleep and exercise) quite helpful. However a few times I've been woken at odd hours in the early morning by the "Time to stand!" message. It's not a big deal and I easily fall asleep or decide to stay awake if it's close enough to 06:00 the time I've set as my goal, but I'm still curious if there's some adjustment to the software's settings or things in my behavior or environment that can be adjusted to reduce this. I'm assuming that if the software is telling me to stand, it means that it calculates that I'm awake when I'm actually sleeping. Certainly there will always be some noise in this calculation, but perhaps I can change something to reduce this noise? **Question:** What (if anything) can I do to stop my Apple Watch from waking me up to say "Time to stand!"? On my watch under >Focus I see both >Do Not Disturb and >Sleep options, which I think means that I can prevent the phone from issuing the messages during certain times, but I'm wondering if there are other ways I can prevent this, perhaps by enhancing the watch's ability to know when I may be asleep in the first place. I keep my watch and phone linked via Bluetooth most of the time, so if there were for example some way that my phone's light sensor (that it uses for screen brightness) could tell my watch "Shhh... sleeping" via Bluetooth that would work nicely in my case. ---- - iPhone SE II (v15.3.1) - Apple Watch S7 (v8.1) 1from the link: >People with insomnia should evaluate or have their sleep patterns evaluated and take into account all possible factors that may be affecting the person's ability to sleep. This would involve keeping a sleep diary/journal for a couple of weeks. The journal will help to identify patterns of thoughts or behaviors, stressors, etc. that could be contributing to the person's insomnia. ---- I snapped a photo of my watch waking me up and telling me to stand at 02:51 by fumbling for my phone in a dark room: I snapped a photo of my watch waking me up and telling me to stand at <code class=02:51 by fumbling for my phone in a dark room" class="img-fluid rounded" style="max-width: 100%; height: auto; margin: 10px 0;" loading="lazy">

Through a series of events the passcode entries on an Apple Watch has been exhausted and the watch is locked with this message: > Wrong Passcode > > Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, go to > Passcode, then tap Re-enable Passcode Entry to try again. But when I go to Passcode on the Apple Watch app it just spins probably because the watch is in Airplane Mode. When I try to reset the watch through the Apple Watch app I get this error message: > Could Not Connect to Apple Watch > > Make sure your Apple Watch is nearby, powered on, and not in Airplane > Mode. But I can't turn off Airplane mode on the watch because it locked. Do I have any other options besides taking to the Apple store with proof of purchase?

This becomes a more relevant problem with the new Siri watch face. I ended up deleting most birthdays in Contacts to stop birthdays from clustering my Apple Watch screen daily. **I tried the below but failed to achieve my goals:** - In the watch app on iPhone, go to calendar and mirror my iPhone's setting. I also make sure birthday is *unchecked* on the calendar settings of my iPhone. I confirmed this by going to my calendar on iphone to see no birthdays are showing. - I then checked my watch, the birthday is still showing in calendar. I gave ample amount of time (15mins) for the Apple Watch to sync. Look again - the birthdays are still there. - I then restarted my Watch - the birthdays are still there. - I double checked my calendar app on iPhone, no birthdays are shown and the birthday calendar is still unchecked. The calendar setting in the watch app is still set at mirror iPhone. **Then I tried with using custom instead of mirror iPhone in the watch app->calendar:** - Uncheck the Birthday calendar - The birthdays are still showing on watch - Wait 15mins - the birthdays are still here So I ended up deleting most birthdays in Contacts and the birthdays stop showing on my watch instantly - except those birthdays I have kept.

The **Breathe, Heart, Stocks, Walkie-Talkie, and Workout** apps are not showing up on my Apple Watch. I know this is because I have a configuration profile on my iPhone with an app whitelist only configuration. When the profile is removed, the apps appear on the watch. This is done through inputing the app bundle ID. The Activity app which is on both the Apple Watch and iPhone is appearing on my Apple Watch since I was able to add it to the whitelisted apps. I use Apple Configurator 2 to provision the iPhone. I cannot find any app bundle IDs for any of the listed above Apple Watch apps. I have done lots of troubleshooting and have not come to any conclusions. Can anyone offer me some suggestions on how I can resolve this?

I set up a new Apple Watch yesterday by restoring from the backup of a previous watch. The watch from which the backup came was successfully logged in to my iCloud account. But with this watch, each time I have attempted to log in, I am getting an error: enter image description here The error is "Could Not Sign In - There was a problem connecting to the server" The iPhone I'm doing this on is connected to the internet and logged in to iCloud. I am able to authenticate to iCloud in other apps (verifying App Store purchases, for example). It seems to be just this one task that can't connect. This has persisted through restarts of both the phone and the watch. Is there a fix? How should I go about troubleshooting? Apple Watch series 3, watchOS 4.2; iPhone 8, iOS 11.2.5.

I have *Apple Watch 2 Series* and *iPhone 6S*. Recently I've got an update to *IOS 13* on iPhone and *watchOS 6.1* on Apple Watch. After upgrade **Reminders** stopped syncing. I tried to resolve the problem by unpairing the watch and pairing it again using backup to restore. Now strange thing has happened: **Wallet & Pay** option *disappeared* from Apps list in *Watch* application. So I cannot add any cards to my watch anymore. **Reminders** app also disappeared from the watch. I tried to uninstall the iPhone app Reminders and install it again, but it didn't have any effect on the watch. To resolve problem with the **Wallet & Pay** on Apple Watch I tried to change regions on both iPhone and Apple Watch - no luck. iPhone have Apple Pay app and is able to manage cards. Any ideas what I can try else to recover function of **Wallet & Pay** app and **Reminders**? This is different from similar question, where OP could solve his problem by setting correct region for his watch. I already have region set to the country, which participates in Apple Pay programm. **Update 1:** The Wallet & Pay menu has reappeared in Watch App after I *unpaired* and *paired* the watch as a **new device** (not using backup to restore). Reminders and a bunch of other very useful apps is still not available on the watch. The problem becomes more clear: **iPhone cannot install any app on the watch**. In the watch management app on the iPhone it is visible that iPhone tries to start the installation - rotating circle, but nothing happens for many hours. **Update 2:** Resetting network settings on iPhone and joining again to Wifi seems to restore synchronization between iPhone and the watch: apps now can be installed, calendar get updates. **Reminder** app is still not available on the watch. Tried re-installing app on the phone: no luck.

Now whenever I go into the App Store to install it and tap on the cloud icon, it loads as if it’s about to start installing for half a second, then changes right back to the cloud icon. The app never installs, and I’m stuck because it leaves my Apple Watch useless as it can’t pair to my new iPhone. How do I resolve this issue?
