I have my YMCA card in my Apple Wallet. My watch only suggests my YMCA card at certain locations. The YMCA I go to the most does not trigger an automatic suggestion of my membership card. Is there any way to force this suggestion to happen? My devices are a Series 3 Apple Watch and an iPhone X both on the most recent, public iOS and watchOS releases. I have Allow Notifications and Suggest on Lock Screen selected in the settings tab in Apple Wallet.

I have 2 identical transit cards in my Apple wallet. One is for personal use. The other for business use. Unfortunately, other than the position in the stack and the amount of money on the card there is no way to tell which card is which. It seems like there has to be some way to add a label to the cards, ideally at the top so I can know which one to select. How can one add a label to cards in Apple wallet?

I am relatively new to Shortcuts: I have one used routinely on my Mac, and now I would like to do something on iPhone: I would like to share a Wallet transaction data with a web-site (using POST call). To start with, I created a shortcut automation that is supposed to put transaction data in a dictionary and display that dictionary. It sort of works, but I am facing two blocking issues: 1. With one of the two cards I've added to my Wallet, the automation doesn't run at all. I get a notification that "Shortcuts Automation failed. encountered an error: There was a problem running the automation." When I click this notification, it just opens Shortcuts, so I can edit the automation, but I don't see what caused the error. 2. With the second card, the automation runs, but I get seemingly wrong values in my dictionary. E.g. amount is always zero, so I probably use transaction data incorrectly. I wonder: is there any way to: - debug an automation, i.e. being able to step through the automation after I've paid with a Wallet, and see what is happening at each step, including all "variable" values; - enable some sort of log, where I could see what happened when Shortcuts tried to run my automation, including any more detailed error messages? In general, is there a ways to work on more complex automations? Especially with Transactions, which I cannot execute without actually buying something.

I have a pass (for my son's sports club) in the Wallet app on my iPhone and Apple Watch - on the iPhone it works OK. However, on the Watch it is showing as expired. Predictably Apple (after much troubleshooting) say it must be a problem with the pass, but the club say the pass must be OK as it is working on my iPhone. Has anyone got any ideas on what could be causing this to happen, and how it could be fixed? I have tried removing and re-adding the pass, many times, with no improvement on the situation. The pass does not have the "valid to" field populated, only a a "valid from". As far as I can remember it did work on my old Apple Watch, but as that was a non-cellular version I usually had my iPhone with me, now that I have a cellular Apple Watch I occasionally go out without my iPhone, hence I noticed this issue.

My idea is to help small businesses without an IT infrastructure to generate Apple Wallet passes for their customers to identify them later. All the data would be stored in my database and will be accessible by the businesses. A customer would show an Apple Wallet pass which the business would be able to scan and fetch customer info from my database. Businesses would be able to create/modify/distribute their passes through my app. In https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/48719 , one of the comments mentioned: > You agree not to ... use Your Pass Type ID to sign a third party's pass. I haven't seen this rule anywhere on Apple's website, so I'm not sure if it is still active. > Distribution needs to be under your own trademark or brand. Does that mean I can't generate passes for other businesses although I am providing service related to wallet passes and pass generation is not part of the main service itself? - I’m wondering if there is any legal workaround for my use case ( putting my company logo as main logo) - Creating paid Apple Developer account to obtain business' own pass type id and certificate is not a viable solution. Can I generate Apple Wallet passes using my pass type id?

I thought adding a card to the wallet app would mean you can just tap with your phone instead of the physical card and it appears identical to the merchant as using the original card. Through further research I learned using Wallet in reality uses Apple Pay which provides a unique Apple Pay number, and possibly other personal information inputted into Wallet. This thread on Apple Forums states Postal Code, Shipping Address might be shared. (see [Does Apple Pay share cardholder name or billing address with apps, websites, or merchants?](https://discussions.apple.com/thread/253453334)) But I can't find this information on Apple's own page about [Apple Pay security and privacy overview](https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT203027) . Instead, they vaguely state: > along with additional information needed to complete the transaction Apple Pay's marketing repeatedly states how it protects your privacy, but it seems it's capable of sharing more information than a simple card tap would (Card number, Cardholder name, and expiry). I'm wondering what else Apply Pay could share potentially share as "additional information". Could phone Number, and Apple ID Email also be shared? Under what circumstances is information shared?

When I use the built-in Shortcuts app, I can read various RFID tags: access tags, passports, library books etc. Those tags are obviously compatible with the iPhone hardware, but I have yet to find any NFC app that can read these. I have tried at least five different apps, the latest being NFC Tools . According to this link , it should be possible to read the UID on iOS 13+.

Why is the 'Wallet' app using up all of my battery?
My battery seemed to be draining rather fast. I opened the battery settings, and it turns out that the wallet is responsible for 60% of my battery usage. This is an unexpected amount. I only used the app once today, and it is not open in the active apps tray either. What could be causing this?

This tends to occur when trying to buy fuel whilst on a journey. The action I'm trying to use is double-click the home button [yes, I still have one of those, an SE2, my FaceID 13 Max lasted 24 hours before I sent it back] When I only had a single bank card in my Wallet this was less of an issue, holding the phone to the NFC device would auto-open the Wallet. Now I also have store cards in it, which are not part of any payment structure, merely contain a bar code the store's system can read to register my purchases for points. When Apple Maps is running I can't get Wallet to come to the front. It just opens the map instead.

Some hotels have the Apple Room Key feature where you can unlock your door room and elevator according to your booking details with Wallet and NFC. Us developpers, have the possibility to create passes, sometimes NFC passes with Apple special NFC certification that we can obtain here . However, I did not find any documentation about a "room key" feature. I do believe then, that this feature is quite exclusive like the car key feature, but the car key feature is clearly made and stated to be developped with car manufacturers. Whereas this room key feature could not only benefit all sorts of hotels but also company offices and is mentioned nowhere on Apple's website (correct me if I'm wrong please). The equivalent feature is the home key announced at the WWDC21 . It is well documented but limited to HomeKit capabilities and compatible devices. Does someone know anything about this or was more lucky than me searching for this topic?
