One of my external hard disks is a 8 TB "Seagate Backup Plus". It is formatted with NTFS and came with a driver program and utility (named "NTFS for Mac"). This worked well until I updated my Mac from MacOS 11 to MacOS 15. Now when I try to mount the drive, it says "failed to mount". The drive is also not visible at all in DiskUtility, but is visible from the "NTFS for Mac" utility. The error report says
