I've got a lag issue with one of my two extended monitors, but only when using a VM in full screen mode. Everything is fine running macOS 15.2 (Sequoia).
I use Omnissa Horizon Client for Mac on my MacBook Pro M3 Pro to access a Windows 11 VM. I'm using two Philips 27E2F7901 as extended monitors connected through a CalDigit TS4.
I think the issues started a few months ago with version 2406, but I'm not sure. I upgraded to Version 2412 Build 8.14.0 (12437218286) today but I still have the issue.
When the VM client is in full screen mode:
- there's a lag of at least a second (sometimes much more) when typing text, deleting text, selecting files or menu items, and dragging windows
- video playback is jerky (just the video, not the sound).
- the pointer often disappears, but a strong shake of the mouse brings it back on another screen.
These issues only happen on one of the three displays (upper right on my setup).
If I drag Windows 11 application window to one of the other two displays the problem goes away for that window. If I drag it back to the upper right monitor the issue comes back in full screen mode.
After switching the two Philips input cables at the TS4, the issues remain only on the upper right extended monitor.
I'll note that I don't have problems with the Horizon application as a regular window, including when it's on the monitor the full-screen mode hangs up on. I also widened the window to span both extended monitors and all was fine.
