Fusion Drive: can you partition it in Disk Utility? I'm having trouble, < minimum size 24GB?

                          I tried partitioning my Apple Fusion Drive (32GB Flash on it) in Disk Utility and it results in an error that one of the partitions I created is < than the minimum size of 24GB.

Is anyone else having this problem as well? Can you partition your Fusion Drive for another operating system?  Perhaps with alternate software like fdisk using a Linux bootable USB drive?
