User and data transfer via migration assistant from Timemaschine Backup to new iMac, Sequoia

All users and data should be transferred completely with the help of the migration assistant from a Timemaschine backup; the Timemaschine backup is on external USB HD, is checked and works. In the selection window of the objects to be transferred (users, programs, system, ...), the main user of the old Mac is displayed in the list with the note "The data of this user does not have to be transferred" and is displayed as not selectable with 0KB data. Why? All other users are listed with selectable content and size information (tick). In the next step, ignoring the message for the main, one is nevertheless prompted to assign a new password for this user and the transfer/restore process can be started. The result: Migration completed, user accounts created, but data from the main user NOT transferred! Data of the other users is transferred. The message during the setup of the migration is irritating and discouraging and the result frustrating because the data has not been transferred; there are no really meaningful support contributions from .
