Only one HDMI port recognized on USB-C dock

I've gotten my hands on a [JCD543](https://en.j5create.com/products/jcd543) and only the HDMI/DP combination port is detected on my carbon x1 5th gen running linux while the secondary HDMI and VGA port are not.

Ideally the video outputs would show up as DP-2-{1,2,3} and not just DP-2. It does this with other usb-C docks with multiple video outputs. Any pointers? Hoping I won't have to end up figuring out how to write a driver for this..
