swap linux distro without using usb or cd or any kind of external storage device

swap ubuntu in my system to garuda linux without using usb or cd or any kind of external storage device I've heard its possible by changing the contents of sources.list file, but i think its only possible when im swapping from [**debian** based distro] to [another **debian** based distro] but here its [**debian** based distro] to [**arch** based distro] soo, is it possible¿ or, is there another ways to swap distribution?
