I'm experiencing a regular occurring issue.
After start up into the xfce Desktop everything runs well. Then suddenly, both display freeze and go black.
After a few seconds sometimes the xfce session comes back as before the freeze, sometimes the session stops completely and I have to log on again.
I check the log files with the following command
# sudo journalctl -S 2025-01-28
and get the following out put at the time of the "blackout" (shortend)
[drm:amdgpu_job_timedout [amdgpu]] *ERROR* ring gfx_0.0.0 timeout, signaled seq=10171, emitted seq=10173

[drm:mes_v11_0_submit_pkt_and_poll_completion.constprop.0 [amdgpu]] *ERROR* MES failed to response msg=3
I would like to know how to stop this freezing of the displays.
