My PC is not detecting my microphone. Linux Mint 22.1

I have never been able to get my Microphone to work on my Desktop PC running linux. I have tried using all my 3.5mm ports and have messed with Pulseaudio and everything with no luck. It seems this is a common problem but I have found no answers that help. I'm currently using a set of Single jack wired earphones with built-in mic. I have no issues getting sound in my headphones unless I plug into my front 3,5mm port(Motherboard I believe), then I get this weird static and buzzing as well as sound, so instead I'm using my rear port(Graphics Card?) Which works fine. Any solutions or ideas? Edit: It is a desktop PC with a Radeon rx508 and an Asus motherboard, I'm running Linux Mint Cinnamon 22.1. Here is the

My headphone Jack supports both output and input but is connected to the output slot on the back of my desktop. There is still no microphone input when inserted into the other slots. Thanks in advance.
