Can't unlock bootloader on Lenovo A1000

I have a Lenovo A1000 which I need to flash. BIOS isn't opening such that I could try wipe and reset, not even factory reset in settings is working. So I was left with no other option than flashing. But when I connect it to the PC, instead of getting into flash mode, it's charging. I guess my bootloader is probably locked. When I connected, errors like code 10, code 51, code 49, etc. were shown individually. I thought the problem was on my PC, but the same problem occurred in others too. Please suggest what's the problem and also ways to tackle it.
