Dropbox app not installed, but there is log activity in /data/system/dropbox

I don't have Dropbox app installed nor DropBox account, but whilst checking log files I've found that there is a /data/system/dropbox directory with log files from, I think, the last time I rebooted my phone. Why might this present? Is it possibly symptomatic of some kind of malware?
