I only recently (February 2025) discovered the sync deficiency of Google Calendar for Android (I'm running Google Calendar for Android current Version 2025.06.1-[bunch of numbers] on recent model Samsung phone. Last year with this new phone, I used Smart Switch to transfer as much from the old phone as I could. I didn't know until recently that Google doesn't sync Calendar entries older than two or three years to the Android version. They don't even give users the option, which is infuriating.
However, I found Android StackExchange user [Turkeyphant's solution](https://android.stackexchange.com/a/253557) that worked for me and apparently hundreds of other users. Unfortunately, after restoring all the old entries, some over 10 years old, to my Google Calendar for Android, I found that the Calendar app's Search function will not locate those older entries! It's great to have the data on the phone, but it's almost no help if the information can't be located easily.
So, the question is, does anyone have a solution to how to force Google Calendar for Android to search and locate keywords, search strings, for old, restored (imported) entries?
