When I am there, I enter the next appointment.I then check to see if it is in the calendar. And it always is. However, every one of them (except once) disappear a few days later. I am not deleting them. even accidentally because all other entries are always good. Is there a way I can stop this from happening? Note - the mobile reception there is dicey. I have Samsung **Note 20** and **Business Calendar**

I don't get to choose which. In my Samsung tablet, it syncs with "My tablet -> Events"; see the calendar checked in blue in the following image. Image This seems different from both my Samsung Calendar and my Google Calendar, and I'm honestly confused as to what it is. More importantly, I'm incapable of syncing it with Google Calendar. Does someone know how I can do that?

I cannot search or reference or even see any event prior to this on my phone. Using the web version as a workaround is non-viable. This has been an issue for as long as I can remember. There must be a way to solve this issue, as not having my calendar on my phone makes the Calendar feature all but useless.

I only recently (February 2025) discovered the sync deficiency of Google Calendar for Android (I'm running Google Calendar for Android current Version 2025.06.1-[bunch of numbers] on recent model Samsung phone. Last year with this new phone, I used Smart Switch to transfer as much from the old phone as I could. I didn't know until recently that Google doesn't sync Calendar entries older than two or three years to the Android version. They don't even give users the option, which is infuriating. However, I found Android StackExchange user [Turkeyphant's solution](https://android.stackexchange.com/a/253557) that worked for me and apparently hundreds of other users. Unfortunately, after restoring all the old entries, some over 10 years old, to my Google Calendar for Android, I found that the Calendar app's Search function will not locate those older entries! It's great to have the data on the phone, but it's almost no help if the information can't be located easily. So, the question is, does anyone have a solution to how to force Google Calendar for Android to search and locate keywords, search strings, for old, restored (imported) entries?

Are ***task*** notifications a subset of of ***calendar*** notifications? Are ***task*** notifications mutually exclusive from ***calendar*** notifications? Suppose that there is a Google Calendar ***event*** at 1:00PM on Monday. Will the ***event*** notification play the ***task*** sound or will the ***event*** notification play the ***calendar*** notification sound?

I would like to send Calendar events through mails to a group of people. I can currently share links from my Calendar but that just opens up a browser windows saying 'Untitled Event'. For example, If my event is Quiz No. 2 on 12th Nov at 4. Then the link should re-direct to(preferably in the Calendar app rather than a browser window) a event title 'Quiz No. 2' and the time must be set to 4. The person receiving the mail just has to click add event. Can this be done? **EDIT:** I am able to send the link but it opens up in the browser. Is there any way make it open up in the Calendar app?

In order to add more specifics, I edited the description of each (from now until the end), saving "This event" as the next image shows enter image description here Initially, everything was showing up fine and they received emails with the updates. But now I don't see the text in the description. The same happens in the Calendar of the other two persons. How to proceed to get back the descriptions in the events? Ideally I wouldn't have to do it all over again...

He has a lot (400+) and I don't want to see all of his contacts mixed in with mine. Other solutions I have checked into don't seem to address this situation specifically. There has to be a setting somewhere that says 'don't share my contacts', but I can't find it. I have a Samsung Galaxy A42 and my family member has a Samsung Galaxy A25.

I am trying to migrate from a broken calendar account (no remote sync access, but the phone has all the data cached locally) to a self-hosted CalDAV calendar (connected to by DAVx ). Both calendar accounts are in DAVx, and both are visible in calendar apps. Question: How do you export an existing calendar to another calendar on the device? I have both the "Google Calendar" app and the default Calendar app that comes with LineageOS, but neither appear to support export/import---or at least I cannot find the option. There are _lots_ of calendar events, so we need to do it in bulk. With contacts, it is simple: you can export a .vcs to a file and import the .vcs to another contact account with the "Contacts" app. But with I can't figure out how to do the same thing with a calendar account. Ideas?

One of the main Google Calendar's functions is to remind people their events, with a scheduled sound alarm. The problem is that this sound, I know how to change it , only lasts for 1 second, so I don't hear it. Instead, when they call me, the sound lasts for very long until they hang up the phone, so I realize I'm being called. I would like if the alarm sound lasted longer, how to do it? By the way, I have the same problem with Google Keep reminders. I imagine some people like short sounds because they don't want to get disturbed, and they probably get reminded when they check their phones and see the notification. I want to know if it's possible to make it work like I specified, a longer loud sound like a call.

Say, I have set a monthly event at a specific time and date on Google Calender. I have enabled "1 minute before" notification for it. The notification shows up at the expected time, but if I happen to be doing something else and think I will do the event later, after that time, the event notification automatically disappears from the phone, even though I have not swiped it out. This sometimes makes me forget that I should do the event. Is there a way to make the event notification NOT go away even after the time of the event, until I manually swipe it out?

In my contacts app, I have birthdays and anniversaries saved for most contacts. On most birthdays, I get a reminder 3 days before and then on the day of the birthday at 10 am. I have not created this setting but I'm good as long as I get a notification - so no complaints here. However, for some birthdays and all anniversaries, nothing like this happens. I get no notifications whatsoever. When I tap on a contact's anniversary, I am redirected to the calendar app where I can see an event for that contact's anniversary in the year that anniversary first occurred. However, for subsequent years, no such event is there. This same problem also happens for some birthdays. This is only happening in the Calendar app on Android. On opening the Google Calendar in a browser tab on my laptop, I can all birthdays and anniversaries populating properly. So my question is: What do I have to do so that such missing events are populated on Google Calendar so I can get a notification on my Android phone?
