How do I delete an iCal event without sending notifications?

                          If I try to delete an event on iCal, it offers me these options:

- Cancel
- Delete and Notify

What if I want to delete without notifying?

I'm running iCal 5.0.2 on OS X 10.7.3 using an Exchange account.
