Mint 22 Xia 1 Cinnamon Minimizing Apps Disappear/Don't Show Up In Panel

Minimized applications keep running but disappear/don't show up in panel. How or where do I correct this? I have been through my preferences and looked in everything that I think may have the solution. This is a new version for me as I use to use Mint 21 Vanessa. My new computer did not like Mint 21 Vanessa so my IT put this new version Mint 22 Xia 1 Cinnamon on my new computer. It is so different, and so ... I am a bit lost.
