Emulating clicks in the iPhone Mirroring app

I'm trying to archive a couple hundred chats from an iOS-only app using iPhone Mirroring, since it's a pain doing it directly from the iPhone (you need to swipe and clink a bunch of times to archive every chat). However, when using trying to use Keyboard Mastero and BetterTouchTool, I noticed that you can't emulate left clicks on the iPhone mirroring window. I confirmed this in BetterTouchTool by assigning a keyboard button to a left-click. This worked in the Finder, but didn't work in iPhone Mirroring. It might be that Apple is trying to "protect" the iPhone Mirroring window from outside emulation. Is there any way workaround to allow clicks to take place?

Screen recording on Snapchat
Recently i used OBS to record my iPhone Mirroring Window and when i opened a Snapchat chat instead of saying “_____ screen recorded” it said “______ took 60 screenshots”. The number kept going up as I was in the chat. Wondering why does this happens instead of just saying “_____ screen recorded”

macOS 15.1 has iPhone Mirroring, but how do I "rotate" the iPhone?
I can't find a way to do it, even though it seems like a trivial thing to do for mirroring. How can it be done?

When using macOS's iPhone Mirroring, is there a way to simulate "touch screen"?

I tried using iPhone Mirroring on the MacBook Air, to play Pokemon Go. I tried to touch the Poke ball, and throw it at a Pokemon, but it was very difficult to do that using the trackpad, because I have to click, move, and let go of the click. The action of "touch, move, and let go" is very difficult to be emulated by the trackpad (touchpad) on the MacBook if I have to click it to be considered a "touch". Is there a way to make it work? Since there is no touch screen Mac, so maybe trackpad is the only way, or one good way, which can make it possible. P.S. something like, if Shift-click, then even when you let go of the click (when you finish the click), the system still thinks you are still touching the screen. Then when your finger really leaves the touchpad, then it's considered not touching the screen on the iPhone.

I sometimes want to run the iPhone Duolingo app via iPhone Mirroring on my MacBook Pro (MBP). However, I can find no way to make the iOS keyboard that would normally appear if I were running the app directly on my phone appear within iPhone Mirroring. **Is it possible to make the native iOS onscreen keyboard appear in this scenario?** The only workaround I can find for entering forwign text is to open up a separate text editor on my MBP, use one of the MBP's keyboards to produce the desired text, and then copy-paste into the iPhone Mirroring app. Aside from the extra steps required, the iOS keyboard for a foreign language is often much cleaner to use than any of the keyboards available in macOS.

I have an iPhone 12 I use as a webcam on my Mac running Sequoia. I used it briefly as a webcam just to make sure it still worked after an upgrading to Sequoia. It worked fine. The 12 was still using ios 17 at the time. Then I opened the iPhone Mirroring app to try it out. I found that it was already set up to work with the iPhone 12 which was still on ios 17, which I thought was surprising since I hadn't upgraded the phone yet. But I don't want to use this phone for mirroring. I want to use my newer iPhone 15. But I cannot get the mirroring software to switch to my 15. When I go to iPhone Mirroring -> Settings -> Reset iPhone access, I just get an error, "Unable to reset iPhone Access": enter image description here No matter what I do, it keeps asking to connect to the 12. I see no way to get it to forget the 12. Even after upgrading the iPhone 12 to 18, there seems to be no way to get my mac to stop asking to connect to the 12. And on the 12, I told it to forget the mac and that didn't help. Several reboots of my mac an iPhone didn't help either. I also tried the solution here to no effect: https://www.reddit.com/r/MacOSBeta/comments/1f55455/potential_fix_for_iphone_mirroring_not_working_on/ Both phones are using ios 18.

I use Apple hardware for me personally, and for work. I used to use my single personal Apple ID for everything, but then managed device restrictions like disallowing Time Machine floated down to my personal hardware, disabling it. I could re-enable it, until the management sync happened again. Ever since then, I now run purely personal devices on my personal Apple ID, and I create a separate Apple ID for my work devices. Also these Apple IDs are linked as a Family, for what it's worth. iPhone Mirroring just came out in iOS 18 + Sequoia, and I would LOVE to take advantage of it on my work machine, with my personal iPhone. However, Handoff only works using the same Apple ID. Is there a way, via direct connection, some sort of under the hood setting, something, to allow me to call up my personal iPhone on my work computer? My current employer does use an Apple MDM, though they only have licenses for macOS machines. I've been speaking to them to see if I can add an MDM profile for the work account/Apple ID on my personal phone. Would this be enough? Would it limit me to data managed by the work profile? Or would it not work at all because it isn't the "system" (root most) Apple ID? Is there a reverse method? A way to add my personal Apple ID on my work machine? I do not want to set up a second macOS user account on this machine and fast user switch, the point is to have the two Apple ID contents together as seamlessly as possible. … if possible.
