I have tried opening a cypher shell to create a new Neo4j database and failed as follows:
neo4j@neo4j> :use system

Unsupported administration command: CREATE DATABASE demo
I attempted to find some solutions in stackoverflow, some says that I should uncomment this line in neo4j.conf:
initial.dbms.default_database=neo4j
I did it and restart my Neo4j server but this problem was still there.

I am working with amazon neptune and using openCypher query language and doing some stuff using notebook. I have latitude and longitude of 2 points and I want to calculate the distance between these 2 points. For the purpose I am using Haversine formula. However to do this it required trigonometric functions like sin and cos and seems that those are not supported yet with neptune and openCypher. I am stuck here as I will be heavily doing operations on location. Any alternate solution without using sin cos ?

The server process is churning CPU and nothing visible happens. This lasts at least 120 minutes and does not look like it's going to finish any time soon. I use default settings for heap size etc. But on-disk size of the whole dataset (checked in /var/lib/neo4j/data) is ~~ 500 MB. So this machine should handle it. This is my data model: enter image description here I managed to get all the employee nodes that have at least one relationship with skill nodes, but I do not want this. This is the cypher query: :match (a:employee)-[r:Has_Skill]->(b:profession) return a,r,band I couldn't write it with the ALL() function. Can anybody help me with this?
