WSL2 with Ubuntu and VCXSRV: xeyes and git citool working but can not start ubuntu-desktop
xeyes and git citool are working but I can not start ubuntu-desktop. Tried startx or sudo startx but error message reads: no screens found(EE) Is is possible at all to make the ubuntu-desktop run with vcxsrv on Windows 10 Pro? Did search the internet for hours but can not find solution.

Also telnet to port 6000 (vcxsrv) port is getting connected. - However from the WSL2 (Ubuntu) instance I am not able to ping the IP Address of my host (192.168.1.4). Also telnet to port 6000 it says no route. - Already followed all the steps mentioned in this thread which includes adding the firewall rule for port 6000 but it doesn't seem to resolve the issue. **From WSL1:** $ telnet 192.168.1.4 6000 Trying 192.168.1.4... If yes, how can we fix the current issue that I am facing and how can we run GUI Application in WSL2 instance? - Just to note, from WSL2 instance I am not able to ping the Host. Similarly from the Host, not able to ping the WSL2 instance.

I've been using emacs inside WSL and vcxsrv to display the interface. One small issue I found with this approach is that there's a very thin grey area between the border and emacs's text area. Please check a screenshot below. I've tried Windows native emacs and found that it doesn't have this issue. I've also tried running xfce4-session(in WSL) and then start emacs from inside the session, it also doesn't have the issue. Does anyone have some ideas on which part this is related to? Emacs, WSL or vcxsrv? Is there way to remove this grey area? enter image description here
