Why does SockStat app show Google Play Services making VNC connections?

I did have fun with the SockStat app on my device and saw that Google Play Services **is making VNC connections from my device to a Google server through 74.125.71.188:5228**. The question here is: why? Sounds to me like a backdoor allowing Google to see whatever I do, that's really scary...
