Does Google Play allow a 'Pick' button triggering purchase confirmation dialog instead of direct billing flow?

**Context:**
My Android app shows list of subscription plans, with a "Pick" labeled button below them. Tapping it currently launches the Google Pay sheet immediately, however, to confirm to play-store policy I want to add a confirmation dialog first, basically:
1. User taps "Pick"
2. Confirmation dialog appears with content:
- Message: "You're about to purchase the selected plan. This will charge your Google account."
- Buttons: "Purchase" and "Cancel" buttons
3. Only if "Purchase" is clicked → Google Billing flow starts
**Question:**
Does this comply with Google Play policies? Specifically:
- Is the initial "Pick" label acceptable since the actual payment initiation happens via a clearly labeled "Purchase" dialog?
- Does the dialog satisfy policy requirements for explicit purchase confirmation?
- Are there examples of apps using similar flows?
**Policy references I checked:**
- [Google Play Payments Policy §4](https://play.google.com/about/monetization-requirements/) requires "clear disclosure" of payments.
- [Billing best practices](https://developer.android.com/google/play/billing) mention reducing accidental purchases.

I also tried clearing all app permissions and forcing the app to stop before choosing to clear all data again but when I open the app again it automatically logs me in with my account. So will uninstalling the app actually clear the data completely? Does it have hidden folders where it holds the data that I can locate and delete myself?

Since it's for this weekend, I'd prefer an accommodation that has instant booking, but since I'm also still open to any accommodation, I'd prefer not to restrict the list of Airbnb listings to only the ones that have instant booking (which is possible to do as a filter).
Therefore, I wonder: How do I know if an Airbnb listing has instant booking when looking at an Airbnb listing?

I would like to know whether on an Android device it is possible to:
1. Log the date and time of every time a password is entered on my Android phone (this security measure would mean that if someone in my home sees me enter a password without me noticing it, and then uses it to log into my phone, I would then be able to see whether this happened or not to take care of my suspicion).
2. As an extra step, I would like to log all activity once the login screen is bypassed as well (for instance the date an time and application name for each time an application is opened. This is because, while my phone is password protected, once I make the screen go blank by pressing the hardware button on the right, some time goes by until a password is required: I have things set up this way so that I don't have to enter the password just so often). So, is there a way to log all user activity when the lock screen has been bypassed as well?
The device I have is a Samsung Galaxy SIII Neo running Android KitKat 4.4.2.
The device has been rooted.
Thanks!!!

How to quickly switch between two apps on one half of the split-screen view?

I'm in this scenario a lot:
I'm using split screen opened to App1 taking the first half of the screen and App2 taking the second half of the screen. I frequently need to switch between App2 and App3 on the second half of the screen while keeping App1 on the first half. One way to switch between them is to tab the *recent apps button* then *drag* the app window to the second half of the screen. Unfortunately this process takes from 5 to 15 seconds each time I want to switch between App2 and App3, which is very exhaustive as I need to switch between them in a very frequent manner (About 3 to 10 times within 5 minutes).
How could I switch between App2 and App3 on the second half of the screen quickly just by some gesture and the apps get instantly switched without the need to drag or re-position the apps windows in order to re-fit the split screen each time?
A gesture example could be: swiping from the buttom edge of the screen to upwards on the second half of the screen (if screen is in horizontal mode).
**Important clarification:**
I'm asking about switching apps while being in multi-app split screen view. I'm not asking about single app view. One example of apps which works very well for the single app view is EAS App Switcher . What I need is that when I switch to another app it's opened in the second half of the splitted screen (not the full screen which destroys the split screen view).
Let me clarify more. I have App1 and App2 active (in split screen mode). EAS will do the job if it replaces App2's window with App3's while keeping App1's as is. What it does is that it opens App3 on full screen (single app view) destroying the split-screen view and App1 becomes in the background instead of keeping App1 active and next to it is App3 on the other screen half.
It would be very helpful if exist some app or launcher that achieves this.
I'm on Android 6.0.1 on Samsung Note 4 with root access.

Previously I had a Nokia 7.1 (Android 9) when I started to notice this issue. Every few time, the older images I had on my Download folder disappeared without I doing nothing. From time to time it happened again. I let this pass. Every time that ocurred, I manually download the images again, because I needed to have those images there.
Today, I have another smartphone (Multilaser MS50X, a brazilian cellphone with Android 8.1) and exactly after a month of started using it, the older images of my Download folder disappeared again!!!
I've checked some apps that I think it could be doing something like that:
* Google Chrome (downloads data to this folder)
* Google Photos (sync and backup images)
* File Manager + (access to data and folders)
* Quickpic (gallery app)
But no one have an option to "automatically delete Download folders content after a while".
I don't have any Clean App, neither use the function "Free up space" of Android. Also none of those cellphones had an option like "storage booster" or "smart storage" like state on this thread: https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/165200/android-phone-automatically-deletes-photos
Any clue where can I look? It's annoying
Regards
Update: When I open Google Photos, go to 'Photos on device', and select 'Download', I can see all the deleted images (the images that should be on that folder and it doesn't)

Google Lens has a feature in which the user can download offline language packs so translations can be performed without an internet connection. That sounds great, but it appears to be very buggy. Language downloads often get stuck at 80-83%, and often even if they reach 100%, they never get added as offline languages. To make matters worse, after failed downloads, Google Lens often no longer thinks the offline language translation files are available for some languages. It's a buggy mess.
How does one clear all the data/cache for Google Lens in Android 16, hopefully without clearing anything else? Clicking on the icons in the Google Lens 'Translate from' screen does not work properly.

I just wanted to know, why do companies drop their support to older OS versions after few years? Does it cost them a lot to continue the support to older OS versions as well? Does it require a whole team to be hired to just keep managing the support for older OS? Just being curious about this.

I recently bought a (currently discontinued) Polaroid Cube+ off eBay and I want to be able to use all its features.
The instruction manual and other places mention there is an app (package name
com.polaroid.cube
), but it seems to have been removed some years ago. (Latest version I can find is from 2017, v2.3.8.)
I want to install the Polaroid Cube app onto my OnePlus 12 with Android 14, but when trying to install (by running the APK or via adb install --bypass-low-target-sdk-block
) it says that it is not compatible with my device. It seems that the architectures don't match (armeabi-v7a, armeabi vs arm64; the specific error from adb is INSTALL_FAILED_NO_MATCHING_ABIS
).
**Is there a way of installing this app onto my OnePlus 12?** Ideally it should *not* involve rooting, as I have some work-related 2FA associated to my phone that need it to be unrooted. In addition, I don't have any older phones to install the app onto; the goal is to install this ancient app onto my modern Android phone.

Let us assume I am working/living in a potentially hostile environment and want to minimize the risk that somebody can access the data stored on my Android phone. The recommended way is to force-lock the phone to ensure that it cannot be accessed without the password, but this does not fully protect against data extractions applied directly on the phone. And going through the multi-step approach of resetting the phone via Settings is obviously not feasible under pressure.
So I am looking for ways to quickly factory reset on an Android phone. Something like "press one icon, confirm with one button = reset Android phone to factory settings".. with no passwords, no PINs... just quick wipe.
How can I accomplish this?
PS: I am aware that this may also lead to unexpected data loss in case the function is triggered by mistake. That is a risk I am willing to take.

The games sound very tiny compared to regular speaker experience you get when using the phone because Android switches audio API to low level one for gaming.
Regular API is used when you screen record during gaming, and it sounds full, rich, and spatial with Dolby Atmos on.
Genshin Impact has Audio API compatibility mode option to force regular API, but not all games provide this.
So, is there any method, app, or ADB command to force regular API for gaming?

Recently I've decided to de-Google my phone, and noticed some issues:
1. GMS is NOT the core of AOSP, BUT is definitely required for most apps that need some account management to work properly like all Google apps and most third-party apps that I can easily live without or replace with other apps.
2. The lack of Google Play Services drastically slows down some of the basic apps like browsers (not all of them, but most like Chrome, Edge & Brave), although I can use browsers or alternatives for things like synced calendars, notes, and office.
I currently have no idea how could I make the basics work flawlessly with GMS completely removed.
Any recommendations?
