How to log all user interaction on my device?

I would like to know whether on an Android device it is possible to:
1. Log the date and time of every time a password is entered on my Android phone (this security measure would mean that if someone in my home sees me enter a password without me noticing it, and then uses it to log into my phone, I would then be able to see whether this happened or not to take care of my suspicion).
2. As an extra step, I would like to log all activity once the login screen is bypassed as well (for instance the date an time and application name for each time an application is opened. This is because, while my phone is password protected, once I make the screen go blank by pressing the hardware button on the right, some time goes by until a password is required: I have things set up this way so that I don't have to enter the password just so often). So, is there a way to log all user activity when the lock screen has been bypassed as well?
The device I have is a Samsung Galaxy SIII Neo running Android KitKat 4.4.2.
The device has been rooted.
Thanks!!!

Before, the lock-screen PIN had something with square buttons, except they were larger & took up the whole middle of the lock screen. Now, they are shifted up, smaller (circular with spaces between them), and less responsive.
This seems like a terrible idea from a UX standpoint- completely messing up my muscle-memory; now every time I try to log in to my phone, I screw up the PIN at least twice, and it's very annoying.
When I try to look up this issue, most of the responses will be about changing my PIN lock method to a password/pattern, etc., lock method, or changing the PIN itself. Those Q&As I've found addressing the appearance/behavior of the lock screen tend to say it's inbuilt to the system & nothing you can do except for really cracking your phone software. I also don't see anything in Accessibility options, but maybe I'm missing something.
Any ideas, or is this really something I'm going to have to put up with?

Suggesting to uninstall apps isn't an answer. Using ADB is fine.
One may also want to remove some of the default Android options such as 'cut' (for text).

I am using WhatsApp and I'm in the UK.
A new floating button has appeared in the bottom right corner of all my group chats.
It is round and it displays an icon that seems sound-related. Neither tapping nor holding it seem to have any obvious effect, apart from the [transient color change for feedback](https://m2.material.io/components/buttons-floating-action-button) .
It only appears when the screen is entirely scrolled down, and it gets replaced with the "jump to the end" icon when scrolling up.
Besides its apparent lack of function, it's also inconveniently placed, as it overlaps with checkmarks and reaction emojis if the last message was sent by me.
What is this button and what does it do?
----
Edit: it has disappeared after an update on December 5th. I'm still curious what it was supposed to be.

I know that this is a built-in feature in Android systems, but I wanted to see if there an explicit way to **turn off** this feature as the button can be sometime very annoying.
For example, as many have shown in older posts, Samsung's Android settings even has an option that permits you to turn off this feature. Sadly, my Nothing Phone 2 does not have this option and it supposedly uses stock Android. Current version is 14

Consider the following system:
- Stock Android 9, unrooted
- USB and wireless debugging unavailable
- screen permanently turned off
So basically a headless Android device.
**Question:** Is it possible to programmatically execute touchscreen inputs without any user interaction, e.g. in order to automatically force-stop selected apps?
**Example:** The default method to do this manually is from the app info menu, i.e.
Similarly, inactive/background apps can be closed from the developer settings:
**Note:** A purely programmatic solution is required. Connection to a debugging device is allowed only once for initial setup, otherwise: No external devices.

Is there any way to make the Android browser browses in true desktop mode, i.e. viewing the same layout as a desktop computer?
I know in Firefox, I can click on "request desktop site" in the menu, and some similar functions in Chrome. However, neither of these modes brings me the same experience as I have on a desktop computer. For example, Gmail has a menu item "filter messages like this", which is missing in "request desktop site" mode, and similarly for many other websites.
I understand the UI differences such as mouse vs. touchscreen. What I mean is to emulate a desktop screen mode. For example, a virtual screen size to mimic a desktop monitor (I can swipe the touchscreen to move the viewport, and can even enlarge/shrink the viewport with two-finger gestures). A touch emulates the mouse's left button click. No mouse right button is acceptable, since most functions should be able to work by just left click. (Remember Apple Mac desktop might even go with a one-button mouse).
The problem is, that what they think as "optimized for mobile" might not be what the user thinks/wants, such as the removal of some functions.
I don't need "mobile optimize". Just the browser to mimic desktop one to the maximum extent, and I want to visit the website in Desktop Mode, as if I connect it from a desktop computer.
Some websites provide a "full site" button to do this. But why can't I pretend myself as a desktop computer in the first place? How on earth does the server identify the browser as an Android browser, even in the "desktop mode"?
Note that this question may seem a duplicate as https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/168742/bypassing-mobile-detectability-from-the-browse . But I do express the problem in a more general/broader perspective.

My grandmother wants to use a smart phone but I'm struggling to set it up in a way that is intuitive for her. Although she's used older mobile phones for decades, she doesn't have any experience with desktop computers or user interfaces and at 84 it's very difficult to pick up those metaphors. She asked for a touch screen phone in the first place and I think feels some obligation to use it, so we'll pretend going back to a feature phone with physical buttons isn't an option, even though I think that would be the best choice.
All she really needs to be able to do is take calls, easily check missed calls and contacts, and access the dialer. Even text messaging isn't really important.
However far as I can tell Android isn't at all designed for someone like this. The best I've been able to do so far is make contacts the only app on the home screen so there's always a clear way to get back to it (press the home button) and use the AOSP contacts app since it has a tab that displays favourites in large tiles with photos. The latter is really the only saving grace right now and what I'd like to aim for across the whole workflow since it's extremely visual and intuitive, all she has to do is tap on a picture of someone she knows to call them. Even still, it's extremely easy to get lost in the rest of the UI; there are too many extraneous buttons, apps don't reset their state, and the few other apps that display large photos insist on opening menus instead of a one-tap dial. the dialer is also an issue, I'm yet to find a way to put the keypad front and center instead of hidden behind a small bubble.
I've checked a number of alternative apps and launchers that advertise being easy to use for seniors but most replicate the same UI paradigm but with large, high-contrast buttons. While I'm sure that's helpful for a lot of people the fundamental issue here isn't vision but struggling with the idea of buttons and menus in the first place.
I'm wondering if anyone else has faced this kind of problem and what kind of solutions you found. I'd appreciate any advice or app recommendations. I'm actually quite surprised there's no existing ultra-streamlined UI for the sake of accessibility.

When I turn it on, it says "data charges may apply" and requires me to tap again for confirmation. When I turn it off, it asks "turn off mobile data?" and requires me to tap again.
Samsung phones don't ask, so tapping on the mobile data icon is more convenient and reliable.

I wonder whether there is a shortcut (or, alternatively, any quick way) to get you back to the current day (the one we're in in the month we're in in the year we're in) on Google Calendar.
The quickest way I can think of is clicking on the square in the middle of the bottom part of the screen and flicking to where the date widget is on the desktop (if you clicked on it to open Google Calendar it will be the current page), memorizing the date, and returning to Google calendar, scrolling to the given date, while keeping it in mind.
I wonder whether there's a quicker way.
I thought, maybe, from the application menu there could be an entry for current date you could click on, but I couldn't find it (so maybe there is a more efficient way).
Perhaps the best option is just minimizing the app and clicking back on the date on the desktop. Is this the best way to do it?
Thank you for your help.
Thank you for your answers.
Thanks.

How to make side scroll bars appear when I scroll on all applications? For example on NYT, and Globe and Mail apps, scroll bar never appears

My understanding is that Android makes the scroll bar appear on the right side of the screen only when you're scrolling, so you have an idea where you are in page.
For example if I go to my Settings app, when I scroll, a grey scroll bar appears to the right of the window, indicating to me where I am on the page, and how long the page is. (See screenshot.)
However, on the New York Times app, such a scroll never appears on my phone, making it impossible to know where I am in an article.
I thought this was a bug with the New York Times app, but I now realize that the Globe and Mail app is the same. The Guardian app, on the other hand, does show a scrollbar.
Is there a way I can reinstate (through some Android setting) the scrollbar, or does the problem lay with the apps themselves (NYT and Globe and Mail), in which case I will open a bug report with each of the apps. I find the latter unlikely, as it is highly annoying to have no indication of where you are in relation to a full article, and an online search yields no reference to this bug related the apps themselves.
I am using a Galaxy A9 with Android 10 and "One UI version" 2.5, with versions 9.77.0 of the NYTimes app and 7.5 of the Globe and Mail app.

I own a large screen phone and am wondering if I could make it recognize itself as a tablet, as in:
- The navbar should stay at the bottom instead of rotating to the sides
- Notification shade doesn't occupy the whole screen width in portrait / doesn't stay in the middle in landscape
- Apps that support tablet layout will use it
AFAIK, a sufficiently small DPI (LCD density) value will trigger the change, but naturally I want the UI elements to stay at a visible, comfortable size. There's supposed to be a trigger (an if-else condition?) that calculates whether tablet UI should be activated based on device metrics and the above DPI value, however I don't know where the actual trigger is or how should I change it to make it always say "tablet". I've seen similar things done to Android versions below 5.0 via Xposed modules, but those are quite outdated by now.
The answer could be using Xposed (not preferred but still alright, since I still need to stay on Nougat for a while), modifying SystemUI, or even modifying the Android source code and building (I have the know-how for that) - one just have to tell me where and how.
Any ideas?

I quick-fixed it by passing a random value to attribute
Samsung Keyboard is the chosen input method. This happens on Edge and Chrome. Tried Gboard, yes it also happens then. I don't know why some entries are remembered and new ones not. Somehow they are remembered.
