How can I execute a tasker task only after a certain condition has been true for a certain time?
Normally a profile executes its task as soon as all conditions are met. I want to delay this activation, until the conditions have stayed true for some time.
E.g.
* do something after the screen has been continuously off or on for 10 minutes
* do something after wifi xy has not been near for 10 minutes
* do something after cell towers x,y,z have not been near for 10 minutes.

I'm looking for a way to automatically answer any incoming phone calls with a voice message, i.e. an autoresponder.
So actually much like voicemail, except I don't want people to leave me messages. I just want to play a welcome message or "I'm currently not available by phone" and refer them to my email address or Whatsapp.
Upon looking around I find tons of solutions which can auto respond by SMS, i.e. sending an auto reply text message. But that's not what I'm looking for, I prefer to play back a voice message.
Is there a way to do this, either natively from within Android or with an app?

I'm thinking about tasks like rebooting, turning off, or factory resetting the phone.
Google's "Find My Device" offers some related features, but as far as I know, they only work when the missing phone is (still) connected to the Internet.

[Reddit - App/function to play message to callers before phone rings?](https://www.reddit.com/r/androidapps/comments/8wf6ew/appfunction_to_play_message_to_callers_before/)
Basically, a simpler version of this: https://android.stackexchange.com/questions/77846/accept-call-then-play-a-pre-recorded-voice-message-to-caller
1. The call will pick up.
2. Notify the caller that the phone call is being recorded for quality assurances.
3. Then it will ring on my end if the person stays on the line.
Even better would be if it knows if it's a two-party consent state/country, etc, and plays the message based on the area code.
4. Record the phone call.
I suppose in the paid version, you can select certain phone numbers/strangers and groups from one's phone, and it will play to/record, so that you can exempt certain groups.
Is it programmable?
**Edit:** There is a recording app already, **"All Call Recorder"** it simply doesn't notify the caller. It's possible.

I used to have
Silet Time
on **Android 4.4** and it worked really well.
The application sets silent mode or vibration at scheduled time of the week.
I now have **Android 6** and that application does not work anymore; I also tried Silent Hours
and several others.
The Do not disturb
mode works but it doesn't allow setting vibration, only full silent mode which is good for sleeping, but not in other occasions (office hours, meetings, etc).
Is there a way to achieve this on **Android 6**?

I've checked the most obvious potential app (IF by IFTTT) but it doesn't seem to support setting call forwarding.

Starting in I believe Android 14, the Internet page (in Settings app > Network & Internet > Internet) has a button in the upper right corner labeled "Fix connectivity," which does some sort of soft reset of wifi and mobile data. (It's unclear whether this is equivalent to toggling Airplane Mode on and off, or whether it also clears some cached network values.)
Is there a way to trigger this functionality programmatically, e.g. via Tasker, shell command, or intent?

I'm trying to launch an intent to a shortcut of a flow on Automate (by Llamalabs) using the am command supplied by Termux, but the am command needs the Activity Class parameter to run the shortcut and I can't find it. Automate was able to run it fine without an activity class, but I just can't figure out how to do it with the am command.
**How can I accomplish running a intent without an Activity class on the am command?**
I did try running commands like this:
`
am start -a com.llamalab.automate.intent.action.START_FLOW -d content://com.llamalab.automate.provider/flows/58/statements/ -c android.intent.category.DEFAULT
`
But it resulted in this output
Starting: Intent { act=com.llamalab.automate.intent.action.START_FLOW cat=[android.intent.category.DEFAULT] dat=content://com.llamalab.automate.provider/... }
Error: Activity not started, unable to resolve Intent { act=com.llamalab.automate.intent.action.START_FLOW cat=[android.intent.category.DEFAULT] dat=content://com.llamalab.automate.provider/... flg=0x10000000 }
And I tried researching more on the am command, but still with no luck. I did find the monkey command built into the Android shell, but that doesn't work as it keeps saying that the window manager isn't running.
Parameters I have on the shortcut for the intent:
Data URI: content://com.llamalab.automate.provider/flows/58/statements/1
Action: com.llamalab.automate.intent.action.START_FLOW
Package: com.llamalab.automate

TLDR: I need to create a keyboard interface to Android, does this already exist? or am I going about this the wrong way?
I'm running tests from my computer that require me to interact with an Android device. What I would like to do is write an application that runs on my testing computer that can talk to my Android devices as a mock keyboard. Right now, my testing methods are: my desktop app runs, returns a string of text, **I type a string of text into the application on an Android device,** Android devices do their thing (posts modified text to cloud datastore), the desktop app gets value from datastore, and repeats.
I would really like to take the manual step out of the testing procedure. I had some ideas on how to control the Android device's keyboard using an Arduino with the keyboard library, but I would think I could do this with just a USB between the testing computer and the Android device. I've looked around online, but most forms I'm finding are talking about using an Android as a keyboard for a PC (which is the opposite of what I need).

I know nothing about coding or how Android works. But I was wondering if it is possible to send the button press event to the system using this sort of code somehow: KeyEvent#KEYCODE_POWER .
Is there a way I can open the power menu via the screen only? Is there something I can type into a terminal (how do you get a terminal in Android?) that would open the power menu?

I’m struggling to find a keyboard app for Android that offers smart punctuation features similar to those available on iOS. Specifically, I’m looking for a keyboard that can automatically use curly quotes (‘’ “”) and other smart punctuation marks. I’ve tried several keyboard apps including Gboard, SwiftKey, and Fleksy, but I haven’t been able to find the exact feature I’m looking for.
Does anyone know of an Android keyboard that supports smart punctuation in the way iOS does? Alternatively, is there a way to enable this feature in any of the major keyboard apps through settings or additional tools?
Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I tried Macrodroid and Tasker, but (although I use Macrodroid on my normal phone) it did not seem possible on this Android device (it didn't see the Chrome browser, I think because of how minimal this device is kinda strange).
Does someone know how to do it on these devices, or know of another app that I might try?

My goal is that I want to customise my own Android phone to automatically forward text messages from user defined phone numbers onto other user defined phone numbers. I tried updating a very simple app to do this:
https://github.com/EnixCoda/SMS-Forward
However I found that once I had updated to newer Android versions, the app started up and allowed me to set a forwarding number, but did not actually forward the SMS (I used my phone in USB debugger mode). The SMSReceiver class did not get the message that an SMS had arrived I found when I debugged it. I read more, and it seems that only the default SMS app is allowed to have anything to do with text messages. So now, I want to start from the source code of the stock/default SMS app that comes with Android so that I can add the features I am interested in to it.
I'm open to different approaches, but I don't want to download a crapware app with ads or pay nagging.
Doing a little more research, I found that Signal can handle SMS messages, but it seems like quite a big and complicated app.
Any advice appreciated!

Delete all files or reset phone automatically if I don't use my phone for several days
