How do I stop Galaxy Store from updating?

I use Google Play store, and I find it great but I don't really need the auto update feature on my mobile. My mobile has little disk space, so I did the natural thing, uninstalling the updates for various apps, turning off the auto update feature, (via auto update apps-> never). But then I realised the Galaxy Store app itself can auto update whenever it wants, resetting my device settings, updating a massive bulk of unwanted updates to absolutely useless yet non deletable apps. How can I keep Galaxy Store from updating?
