Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro 2017 (SM-J730GM) doesn't seem to support partitioned SD cards

I have a Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro SM-J730GM purchased at a Sanborns shop in Mexico, running Telcel's stock ROM, rooted, with TWRP recovery and Link2SD. A couple weeks ago I repartitioned my SD card in order to use Link2SD's app linking function. I remember having to reboot my phone a couple times before it picked up the card, but at the moment I thought it had finally worked. However, apparently it was just a fluke, because today I restarted my phone in order to flash TWRP, and when I started my phone back it didn't detect the card anymore.
The card is fine, as it can be read with no problems on a PC running Linux. The card reader is fine too, as the card is legible from TWRP and can be formatted without a hitch from Android. With that in mind, I tried formatting the card using my device's Set Up function, then I repartitioned it with my computer. When I inserted the repartitioned card, that's where my phone began refusing to mount it.
Has anyone had any luck mounting a partitioned SD card on this model? Am I going to have to flash an aftermarket ROM into my phone?
(PS: I'm going to try to reproduce it with a different card)

I use Google Play store, and I find it great but I don't really need the auto update feature on my mobile. My mobile has little disk space, so I did the natural thing, uninstalling the updates for various apps, turning off the auto update feature, (via auto update apps-> never).
But then I realised the Galaxy Store app itself can auto update whenever it wants, resetting my device settings, updating a massive bulk of unwanted updates to absolutely useless yet non deletable apps.
How can I keep Galaxy Store from updating?

However, "Kingroot" doesn't support my device type and "Kingoroot" gives "Root Failed" without showing any error code (as shown in the image below) . I have my phone's OEM Unlocked and USB Debugging on and I use ONE-CLICK-ROOT because it is believed to be the safest method (according to a quora discussion). So my question is, why is this happening ? And what could be a safe alternative to root my phone ?

I currently have a Device: Galaxy J7 2018 (J737A).
Questions:
- Is there a way to revert my device to android 8/8.1? I have looked and have not found anything for this model number. Need the stock version.
- Is there any online store that sells devices where users can choose Android OS?
- Is there any other way to recreate a bug and debug on specific versions of Android e.g. Android 8 Oreo?

My Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016 version) is constantly showing "Google play services keeps stopping" every 2~3 seconds. My device is running on android Oreo. I tried reverting back playstore to factory version, now I can't even enter playstore. It just keeps loading forever. I am unable to uninstall play services as well, neither can I delete the data. Yes I did try to deactivate the "find my device' option, but upon tapping "deactivate", the whole option gets greyed out and nothing happens.
I'm not being able to do anything on my phone, and its driving me crazy. Any sort of help would be highly appreciated :)

I have a problem with my J7 Pro(SM-j730F) when i power off the screen and then turn it on again it flickers and takes a bunch of turning on and turning off(Pressing the power button or using fingerprint then pressing the power button again) tries to get it working again, And when it finally turns on i'm good to go aslong as i don't turn my screen off again.
What i want is: To be able to lock my screen without it actually being turned off. And i have tried Always on display to keep the screen on but the reason it doesn't work is because there is like a frame where the screen turns off completely before it goes to Always on display, So something similar to Always On Display would be great but without the part where it turns off for a frame.

I have a Linux system with the default DHCP server (ISC) and an Android phone Galaxy J7 which connects and gets its IP address from the DHCP server.
Right now, the Galaxy J7 was allocated an address automatically, but I'd like to force assign a different one. I've changed the settings in the DHCP server and I know those work since I had those used before and it was just fine. Now I changed the network IP address for my new WiFi router so the device was assigned a new IP automatically before I changed the setup to force the static IP.
How do I force the phone to pick the new IP address? I tried for forget the WiFi setup and re-enter it, but the exact same IP was re-assigned. So I think that the server memorize that IP. I looked in the leases:
less /var/lib/dhcp/dhcpd.leases
and I can't find the IP of my phone!?
I tried to restart the server too, but that usually doesn't help at all and guess what... It didn't do anything about the existing lease (and yet it's not in the list of leases!)
So I'm at a loss.
For Linux, I've seen that you can use
dhcpclient -r
and then dhcpclient
to reassign a new IP. But for the Android, Termux says those commands do not exist. I probably need to properly reset on both side...
Someone has done that successfully before?

Note: big core is oc'ed to 1.79 ghz, stock is 1.58 ghz and little core I underclocked it to 1.35 ghz, stock freq is the same as big core.
gpu freq is oc'ed to 1.1 ghz, I think stock freq is 845 mhz for Exynos 7870.

I don't go out much these days since there is Covid, but I'd like to have Internet once in a while and somehow the Mobile Data doesn't seem to connect, yet I can do phone calls just fine. It's it using the same connection for data?
I do have a data plan in good standing and it definitely worked before (last time I can say I tried was some time last summer, so about 6 months ago).
Any idea what I could try next?

After a couple of times of trying many solutions I found on the internet, I still couldn't fix the problem. I think, I have tried almost everything.
Actually, before this problem, I also have one more problem, which is now fixed. That problem is that the
Driver Status
is "Abnormal", and the Audio Format
is "Unsupported", like this:
Driver Version: 2.5.0.4
NEON Enabled: No
Enabled: No
Status: Abnormal
Audio Format: Unsupported
Processing: No
Sampling Rate: 0
Well, that problem is fixed now ([solution here](https://www.theandroidsoul.com/install-viper4android-nougat/)) , but I still got a problem.
ViPER4Android is not processing, even if I'm playing a song. I'm pretty sure that the music player that I'm using is supported. I am using Google Play Music as my music player.
The problem is that, whatever I change (a setting) on ViPER4Android, it is still the same. It doesn't do anything, but the stock equalizer does. The stock equalizer is still working, which should be not.
Here is the driver status:
Driver Status: 2.5.0.4
NEON Enabled: Yes
Enabled: Yes
Status: Normal
Audio Format: Supported
Processing: No
Sampling Rate: 48000
Some things you might ask:
**Have you tried turning it off and on again? (ViPER4Android):** Yes.
**Have you tried turning it off and on again? (Android device):** Yes.
**Have you tried disabling the stock equalizer? :** I "tried", but it didn't work.
**What sites have you found on the internet for solutions? :** I can't remember 'cause there are a lot, but it's mostly on [XDA](https://www.xda-developers.com/) .
**Have you flashed a flashable zip? :** Yes.
**What device are you using? :** See below.
