No longer being prompted for file sharing permission when connecting to PC via USB - instead it automatically allows it

Usually, when connecting my Samsung Galaxy A54 5G (SM-A546E/DS) running Android 14 to my Windows 11 PC via USB, I am prompted to allow or decline file sharing. This was still the case a few days ago.
Today, when attempting this as usual, instead of being prompted for permission on my phone upon connection, my PC asked what to do with the device as if it were a new device. When I selected to open the device's storage in File Explorer, it did so with no prompt for permission on my phone. It is now continuing to not ask permission and instead immediately opens the storage each time I try to connect.
Neither device has had any significant updates or changes that I am aware of since the last time this was working as expected.
This issue appears to only be present when using this instance of Windows on this PC. It is not present when running my other OS (Linux) instead, nor when trying with a different PC running Windows 11. Therefore, my first guess is that somehow this Windows instance has been added as a trusted device for file sharing.
How might this have happened, and how could I return behaviour to normal?
