After "update" to Android OS 16 (Build # BP3A.250905.014) you cannot use "Alt + Tab" on Bluetooth keyboards to switch apps. How to restore this?

After the "update" (to build # BP3A.250905.014), + still shows the apps list, but does not switch to next (nor to previous) apps upon release&re-press of `` (which is what *Android OS* used to do, and all other *OS*s still do.) Before BP3A.250905.014, could use + (through *Bluetooth*) to show the apps list, then release ` and re-press ` to switch through all of the current apps. How to restore this? Do you have to undo the update (roll back to the old version) to restore + switches? Have the stock *Android OS* (not [**AOSP**](https://source.android.com/)) ; is it possible to go back to the old version, or do you have to return such defective devices and purchase new? Can not include photos of the current apps list since (as of BP3A.250905.014) the + combo is broken in the apps list (the combo just shows the volume tooltip unless you release ` (but releasing closes the current apps list)). A previous "update" broke the physical screenshot buttons on Bluetooth keyboards, which (as of BP3A.250905.014`) are still broken (still can not use).
