Who is "Dr. MAD"/who composed the default Android ringtones?

I found Android's ringtones (in /system/product/media/audio), and a lot of them have metadata. The most common name that shows up in the Artist section of the metadata for most ringtones, as far as I know, is "Dr. MAD". For example, you have "Growl.ogg" (real ringtone in the directory I mentioned above), which has metadata saying the Artist is "Dr. MAD". Who is "Dr. MAD"/who composed Growl (and all other "Dr. MAD" ringtones)? Google's song recognition (and Shazam) says it's this: Nthahouse - Big Jay Mack & Gino Veddy Cheddy, however I'm not convinced it is because the only audio of it available¹ sounds like someone just looped the ringtone over and over, and placed the vocals of a random song over the top. It seems as though the people who made that song actually sampled the ringtone. I've tried googling it, but Google keeps throwing irrelevant results at me. Or maybe I'm not searching the right thing.
