Why isn't the Swype keyboard showing corrections?

keyboard samsung-galaxy-s-2 swype auto-correct

                          Normally, while using the Swype keyboard, corrections appear at the top of the screen and it allows me to pick the right word. For some reason it isn't appearing at the moment.

Is there a way to switch it back on? Its still correcting me and I want to type a word that isn't in the dictionary.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S2, aka GT-I9100.
