Is there a way to keep and use iTunes as well as additional music on a portable SSD hard drive instead of on my main desktop computer?

New to the community so my apologies if this question has already been asked! Trying to figure out how to either have my iTunes and any music that I add to a separate external SSD hard drive, or at least my iTunes app on my desktop computer and all my music on a separate hard drive that iTunes reads from. I am on a 2019 27 inch iMac with a MacOS Sequoia 15.5.
