I started a new project and tried to run the emulator, but I get these errors:
HAXM is working and emulator runs in fast virt mode
emulator: Failed to sync vcpu reg
emulator: Failed to sync HAX vcpu context
It used to work yesterday. I didn't change/download anything.
Why did it stop working? I also made sure there are no other processes of the emulator running.
I'm running Android Studio in OS X Yosemite.

Brand new install of Android Studio.
I cannot run any X86/X86_64 Android emulators. They terminate as soon as I start them with the error "Failed to sync vcpu reg". I have restarted several times and use no other virtualisation tools, although I believe the latest Haxm has solved that issue, so previous answers all suggest this.
Thanks in advance.

In Android Studio V3.5, I created some AVDs which are based on Intel x86 CPU.
But I failed to start any of them because any HAXM devices couldn't be found.
I have enabled VT-x in my BIOS setting. When I tried to install 'Intel Hardware Accelerated Execution Manager V7.0.5', it reported "failed to configure driver unknown error. failed to open driver.".
My PC is Windows 7 64-bit. I couldn't find any solutions.
So, is it possible to disable HAXM feature for an AVD based on Intel x86 CPU?

I am getting intel haxm error while running emulator. It was working 1 month back but stopped a while back. I tried a temporary solution to disable driver reinforcement which starts the emulator but it doesn't work in big app projects and whole app/emulator starts crashing. I have to disable driver reinforcement with each reboot to make it work. Not GOOD idea :/
Secondly, few guys said to enable vt in bios and I did that too but again same issue. Any suggestions?

Please ensure Intel HAXM is properly installed and usable.
CPU acceleration status: HAX kernel module is not installed!
On Googling around, I found that disabling **Hyper-V** would solve this problem. It did. And the emulator worked like a charm. But then, my internet stopped working. In any form. WiFi, Ethernet, every kind of service went bust. Re enabling Hyper-V restored my internet connection, but the error came back. So, I can either use the internet or my emulator.
I really can't keep doing that. Is there an alternate to this?

I also tried installing Amazon AppStore but got the same error so it is not related to Google APIs.
So is there any way I can get apps to work on my x86 Intel image?
ARM is really slow and choppy.

I have 8GB RAM, HAXM set up to use 1024MB. My virtual devices set up to use 512 MB (I have tried different values, but less then 1024Mb, according to HAXM doc).
Here are the error messages which are output periodically (emulator shows black screen)

Also I tried to set LD_LIBRARY_PATH to

I should also add that errors occur only with Intel 2.3 x86 system image. With the newest 4.1 everything works fine.
/tools/lib
and that doesn't help me either.
They say "Make sure that your environment variables for the GL libraries are set correctly". How can I check this? Other programs are working well. Without HAXM GPU acceleration is working well.
Screenshot from emulator:

I am trying to run the **ArcGIS for Android** samples in Android Emulator. Based on the ArcGIS recommendation , I have installed the **Intel HAXM** and enabled the **GPU Emulation** as well.
While running the application with Emulator it reports the below console output. It seems the application has been **installed with ERRORS**, but I can see the application layout **without MAP** and its not responding to me.
Please suggest me, is it anything related to insufficient hardware or am I missing any software configuration things to get it worked?
Thanks in advance!
