Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, this icon (a gear with a ladybug? The sun holding the letter T?) suddenly appeared on my "swipe to unlock" screen. Now the touchscreen is unresponsive and can't enter recovery mode. The only thing I can do is a soft reset.

My wife is using Tab S3. And finds it a bit slow to respond. I am looking at the Tab S8 Ultra. I know the CPU is more than twice as fast. But does this translate to response speed ?

In a Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, with the latest update, there's now a toolbar that you can turn on and off. With the toolbar off, you can swipe from the bottom of the screen to open the app drawer. With the toolbar on that swipe gesture no longer works. How do you open it? When an app is open, there's a 9 dot menu on the bottom left, but when you are in the home, there's no menu.
