What settings do I need to use to make HEVC video in Handbrake? I encoded a h.265 video and it will not play on my new iPad(5th Generation) I am trying to open them in the iOS 11 files app.

Odd Frame Rate 29.68 fps in Live Photos
***Why `29.68 fps`***? Is it possible to set up a `30 fps` or `29.97 fps` frame rate for Live Photos? ***Why 29.68 fps***? Is it possible to set up a 30 fps or 29.97 fps frame rate for Live Photos? The problem is a video part of Live Photos in iPhone X in iOS 11.3 uses quite strange variable frame rate – 29.68 fps, that is not suitable for editing presets in FCP or DaVinci Resolve. If I convert Live Photos' frame rate to 30 fps or even 25 fps, a sound slightly or noticeably drifts away from sync at some point. P.S. Live Photos in iPhone 7 (iOS 10) work with 29.97 fps. enter image description here

macOS High Sierra unable to natively play videos encoded with HandBrake's H.265 setting
I'm using HandBrake to encode some videos using the MP4 H.265 format, but the videos won't play using QuickTime or Quick Look on macOS High Sierra, which is supposed to have H.265/HEVC support. They work in VLC just fine. Anyone else have this problem or know why these videos won't play in the syste...

I have Plex Media Server on a Mac Pro serving video to Plex Home Theater on a Mac Mini. All file formats play just fine except for HEVC h.265 files. I always get the "Please Wait" message for a couple of seconds when starting the file or when trying to skip back or forward. The timecodes are messed up and the progress bar does not accurately reflect the true position of the play head. The file will play fine if I just let it play through but the skipping back and forth creates a problem. I am trying to figure this out and wonder if anyone else has had this issue.
