Is it possible to show a Table of Content (TOC) in Kate for text documents such as txt files or files without filetype?
Maybe it's possible with some setting that I haven't found or with some plugin (maybe there's a plugin for it that isn't available in the options you can select under Settings->Configure Kate). If so, please describe how one can enable a TOC.
It would be useful to organize notes, todos and other texts into separate sections. Clicking on a section in the TOC would make you jump to it.
The text has the syntax "Normal" (this should work with default settings when simply opening a txt file and *not* require you to select the Markdown syntax for example).
For example, if you then write "####This is is a header" somewhere in the txt document, it would display just like all the other text in the file (no color-highlighting or necessarily headers that have a larger font-size) but still make this show up as a section in the TOC which is shown in the panel on the left beneath (not instead) the "Documents" tab if you have that view open there.
I created **an issue requesting this feature here ** but haven't received a reply yet and it may already be possible with some plugin/option/separate tool/Kate-fork/workaround.
I have Kate v20.12.2 in Debian11/KDE.

Apple Notes alternative
Is there a linux based note taking app that shows an image in the note list like Apple Notes? The screenshot below is of Apple Notes. It has a list of recipes in the centre column, with an image for each bullet. I've tried Joplin, SimpleNotes, StandardNotes and Zim with little success. [

How to link in between text document of personal notes with tags (to jump between lines across files in a text editor like Kate)?

I'd like to have keywords in textfiles opened with the text-editor Kate that when clicked jump to a specific line marked with a keyword of another textfile, usually open in another tab in Kate.
---
Here is how I would imagine it to work: for example writing #co1 should become a clickable link (a colored tag-link) in Kate that when clicked opens a specified text file for that keyword - for example "~/Cooking.txt" - at a specific line.
It would be best if one could specify the line it should link to like bookmarks...if the #tag is not in the list of tags one is prompted to specify the location and one can also set tags for lines in documents by pressing e.g. Ctrl+L and entering tag/s for the line.
That other document may or may not be open in another tab of the current Kate session before clicking the link. There could also be features to show all lines or paragraphs with specified tags.
----
If that's not possible with Kate, I'm also interested in similar modern text-editors (that should work well under Debian10/KDE) if they have this feature. If it's possible to implement this with Kate but currently not implemented I'm interested in any further guidance on how to implement it. I was looking at the manual about writing syntax highlighting configs for Kate .

Note taking app that can sync both android and Linux
I've been looking high and low for an Evernote alternative for Linux. I know I can use Everpad or Evernote in WINE but they don't work natively. Any note-taking app would be fine as long as it can sync my android and my linux.

There exists another problem:the comments made is actually on another layer so other pdf readers cannot recongnize it. "Export to PDF" seems a little rude for me.

Notetaking app that can sync between Android and Linux on wireless and NOT using any online services?
I don't mind if it needs some hacking. I am using, on Linux, elementary OS's Footnote, which I like very much. If I could use it's database file somehow in Android, that would be great. Is there a way to do so, or perhaps another app that allows wireless syncing between Android and Linux?

The ideal would be that after recording, I could select a text and it could play the audio that was recorded when that specific text was written.

I am a computer science major who has a lot of theoretical classes that involve a lot of math. I hate using pen and paper for scratch work because I keep on losing them so I am planning on getting a new bamboo input tablet so that I can do all the "scratch work" in an accessible format on my laptop. However, I am finding it hard locating an application in Linux that essentially acts as an accessible white board. All of the apps I look at are geared towards artists and so are not designed to accommodate my needs. Is there an app geared to people who have requirements like mine?
P.S I already use latex but that is usually for work already done and thus not very effective for the things that I am still figuring out.
