0 I know absolutely nothing about installing firmware onto devices and have been struggling for hours to get my Mac Studio to restore an old iPod Shuffle 4th gen I (regrettably) erased (yes... ouch) and may never get the 1.0.2 OS back onto it. Unfortunately, Apple no longer supports the iPod shuffle so the server for the software also no longer exists for any of my Macs go fetch it from to restore the iPod. I did, however, find these [pictured in screen grab] items and need to know how, and if, I can use them to get the firmware/software back onto the iPod so I can load music onto it with Apple Music. Yes, I also realize I can put music on my iPhone, but I have a BluTooth speaker that I want to just plug a little MP3 player into to shuffle a few hours of music at a time without tying up my phone. NOTE: I have ZERO experience using Terminal, so please be patient with your explanations. In case you can't see the screen grab, the filename is "iPod_135.1.0.2.ips" and one just like it with "Documentation" and .ipd plus a sticky with a SHA1 Hash string of characters that I imagine is some sort of key.
