I downloaded Android Studio yesterday, so it should be fairly new. I created 2 virtual devices using latest SDK, version 14 something. Both device is not play protect certified when I check in: Play Store --> Profile --> Settings --> About We can never certify any virtual device in android studio? How can I certify my virtual device in android studio?

I would like to know what it means when Google Play Protect certifies a device. My Motorola Moto G6 (ali) is not certified in the Play Store. ||| |:---------:|:---------:| |Play Protect certification|About phone| (Tap to enlarge) Is there any way to certify my device? Currently, it's running a soak test OTA firmware from Motorola. Is there a problem if my device isn't certified ?

I have tried signing the app with the Android debug key and also I have tried signing the APK with my private key (whose APK is present in Play Store) but still used to get this warning. I don't want to disable the Play Protect (as this is not the solution). When I make clones of the same APK, for example making 10 clones of 1 same APK and every APK with the new unique package name, out of those 10 clones, I used to see the Play Protect warning in only 4-5 APKs and the rest of APKs used to be good (it's not the issue of the package name). I have also tried to sign the APK with Apk Easy Tool, but still the same issue. Everything was working well, but I started facing this issue of Google Play Protect warnings since Nov 2021. Can anyone please tell me how can I fix the fake Google Play protection warning shown in the APK while installing the app?

Even though I don't recommend relying on it (because it is not very effective ), I know quite a few people who only use Google Play Protect. 1. Does Google Play Protect only scan apps installed via the Google Play Store or does it scan all installed apps? 1. Does it scan APK files on the device that are not installed?
