I've seen another post here that opening and saving it in Quicktime on a mac makes it possible to keep the transparency, but it turned to alpha channel into a static black background after saving.

**TL;DR: I want to get a Memoji video with a transparent background.**
When I record a Memoji video in Messages, the video clearly has no background (transparent) as switching between light/dark mode (in iOS 13) switches the background of the video in Messages and in the camera roll between black and white.
However, if I save the Memoji video and airdrop or email it to my Mac and load it into a video editing software (final cut pro) or into photoshop, the video has a black background. I need the transparent background version of the video as I want to use it for a personal website I'm building that will have a light/dark mode where the background of the website changes colour behind the Memoji.
Is there any way for me to get a Memoji video file with the transparent background?
If not, does anyone have any suggestions on how I could best edit out the black background? I have tried after effects but the rotoscoping didn't work perfectly, and I don't want to have to cut it out frame by frame in photoshop as the video is ~10 seconds long.
Appreciate the help!

When I try to use Animoji, I get the following message/error:
> Tap to resume
Additionally, when I tap on my Memoji, I get
> Face tracking failed. Tap to retry
However, tapping does not resolve the issue. I've also tried a hard reboot/force restart , resetting all settings , and erasing the phone and resetting all settings —and none of those fixed the problem.
Face ID seems completely unaffected.
What can I do to fix this?

Can older iPhones receive Animojis created and sent from iPhone X?
iPhone 7+ (iOS 11.1) owner here. If a friend buys an iPhone X and creates/sends me an Animoji, how will it appear on my phone (if at all)?

Is there technical reasoning behind Animoji being exclusive to iPhone X?
To what extent, if any, is Animoji dependent on the camera and sensor system specific to iPhone X? Would there be a noticeable quality difference if the Animoji software was available on other iPhones?
