I have the following Problem working with notifications in my new MacBook: The notifications are only shown inside the notifications center (clicking on Date and time), but there is no popup of the notification shown. I therefore always have to check the notification center manually after I return to my MacBook, since the notification popup ist Not visible. This happens for all applications. The problem occurs on my MacBook M3. It does not in my MacBook M1. Both machines run MacOs Sonoma 14.3. I compared the settings in both machines and they are all the same. Any ideas how I can get the popup to Show up in my new machine?

I am getting notifications which say, "Upgrade to macOS Sequoia. Discover new features to unlock your productivity and creativity on Mac." Please see Figure 1 for a screenshot. This notification opens whenever I unlock my computer. It does not have close button like other notifications. I consider this notification an advertisement. I navigated to Apple menu –> About This Mac. I am already running macOS Sequoia. Please see Figure 2 for a screenshot. I navigated to Apple menu –> System Settings... –> General –> Software Update. Automatic Updates are disabled. Please see Figure 3 for a screenshot. How do I disable notifications to upgrade to macOS Sequoia? I searched on the Apple website. I did not get any relevant hits. I searched on StackExchange. I found the question "Disable Upgrade to El Capitan ." This question refers to macOS El Capitan, but I am using macOS Sequoia. The answer refers to an App Store preference pane which does not exist in macOS Sequoia. I also found the question "Disable App Update Notifications on OSX? " This question refers to notifications for updating apps, but my question refers to notifications for upgrading the operating system. The answer also refers to the App Store preference pane which does not exist in macOS Sequoia. **Figure 1: Screenshot of Upgrade Notification** Figure 1: Screenshot of Upgrade Notification **Figure 2: Screenshot of About This Mac Window** Figure 2: Screenshot of About This Mac window **Figure 3: Screenshot of Software Update** Figure 3: Screenshot of Software Update

I am new to scripting and I came to know that using the command *open "x-apple.systempreferences:com.apple.preference.notifications?Focus"* I can open the Focus preferences. I don't know if there is any command to click on options and toggle the checkbox for allowing time-sensitive notifications. enter image description here

On my old 10.10.5 Yosemite Mac, I had a nice display of Exchange figures like this in the Notification Center like this : enter image description here On my 13.0 Ventura Mac the display is different : enter image description here I find the old display much better than the new one (in the old display you see all the main figures immediately, while in the new display you see no figures at all and the list is much shorter) Can the new widget be configured to get the old display back ?

There are quite a few websites listed System Preferences -> Notifications that I can't remove. The thing is, they don't appear in Safari-> Websites -> Notifications either so I can't delete them there. I've tried deleting the folder db2 from com.apple.notificationcenter but the entries still persist in notification centre even after a restart. How can I remove website entries from the Notification Centre if they don’t appear in safari preferences?
