Improving microphone noise cancellation for calls

I am specifically asking about reducing background noise picked up by the microphone, not noise cancellation for listening.)** I have a pair of Xiaomi earbuds, but their microphone picks up a lot of background noise during calls and recordings. It seems to amplify noise rather than suppress it. Is there a way—preferably an app—to apply system-wide noise suppression for the microphone on Android? My goal is to reduce the background noise that the other person hears during a call or that gets recorded in a voice memo. I know some desktop apps exist for this purpose, but I haven’t been able to find a good Android alternative. Any suggestions? ### Clarification: - I am **not** looking for Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) that blocks out noise for the listener. - I **am** looking for software-based noise suppression that improves what the microphone picks up.
